Day 3, PL Calendar

Instead of worrying o something about it

It doesn’t help to over think situations such as, “what if this happens/” or “things might end up that way”  Instead be proactive and change how you see and do things in each situation.

In life if we never attempt something new, we will never know the full extent of our capabilities.  Accomplishments come in many sizes and guises.  Doing is healthy, walking with intent, getting out, exploring, discovering new possibilities.  It is a wonderful and amazing world we live in, human behaviour is what puts a damper on things/situations.

” I never hit a shot, not even in practice, without having a very sharp in focus picture of it in my head”  Jack Nicklaus (golfer)

Bom dia…. Greeting:

The Perfect Liberty philosophy, celebrates each 1st day of the month with a Day of Peace ceremony.  Through this ceremony we pray for World Peace and dedicate ourselves to lie as peaceful human beings in our own worlds, which includes our home, school, work and community (PL members’ guide)

Day 1 PL Calendar     Always live with world peace in your heart

Each and every one of your actions can inspire peace without your family, your community and the world around you.  This peace will eventually help lead to world peace.

March speaks of the coming season.  Soon we will be seeing the first signs of spring, crafters are working on spring décor pieces, artists are regrouping their paint colours, writers are developing new themes.  Creativity is being stirred with new excitements,

Look around today for ways to spread your wings. Make today YOUR day  Give your smile away, it will regenerate and pay forward all day.  Peace,

Feb 28

IMG_0771Happy Birthday to someone special.  Born on the 28th she just missed being a leap year baby.  How lucky is that.

Birthdays are a celebration of life. No matter how many we have, each one marks a year of experiences and adventures.  Some birthdays are stepping-stones, and others well, they require hiking boots walking sticks and determination.

I welcome every day as an opportunity for kindness.

“You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late” Ralph Waldo Emerson”

#30 of the PL Calendar  Your surroundings are a mirror of your thoughts

When you think \”this s going to be hard” then your situation will become difficult  Instead think “let’s do this!” and face your situation with determination.  Then you will be surprised to se how smoothly things go.

Have a wonderful day every one!  If you are celebrating today, go for it.  Enjoy the day to the fullest.. That said.  We should be doing our best to live every day to the fullest. Happy happy happy energy and vibes to all.

meaning – loss

2015b

What??  I don’t know, back in 2015 I saw this photo and was intrigued at what it was, what it meant, where it came from.  If I found out, I didn’t record it, so in my files this is what I found, now Feb. 24. 2019

Doing a tidy up, I found a card a group of friends sent me when my husband passed away, “on the loss of your husband”  Store bought, from the American Greeting co. in the States, I reread the message.

“They say life goes on just give yourself time to mourn, and accept and to heal,  Though none of that offers much comfort right now with the sorrow and loss you must feel…  but, there in your heart where you miss him the most where friendship and love never cease, somehow you know that he’d  want nothing more than to see you find comfort and peace”

As I digested the words of sympathy my friends had sent me, my eyes fell on today’s PL calendar, for day 24

Things that happen to us all have a meaning

Everything that happens to us happens for a reason.  Each and every occurrence is a chance for you to improve yourself.

It is with gratitude that I start my day, and appreciation for you my friends who keep in touch, drop in,  the distance, the miles, time zones, disappear, when I say I appreciate each and every one of you.  I do.  My heart sings with joy when you say hi…  the like button, the thoughtful hellos, and cheerful input,  the nudge now and then, all blessings.

“I have walked that long road to freedom.  I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way.  But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. ” Nelson Mandela

Happy 15th. day of February..

Live with firm determination, thinking that “this will turn out for the best”

Everything in this world progresses and develop.  Always be positive, knowing that everything will turn out for the best.

Life goes on. Small discoveries.  Don’t laugh, I see this product every time I visit the Asian grocery store.  When I walk by, always, someone is taking a jar.  The other day, I decided to try the smallest jar.  It is ridiculously good,   Try something new today!!

Ancestors Day

fabric friend got for her

Perfect Liberty Calendar … day 11

Appreciate the Makoto (sincerity) of the people who came before you

Everything we have today was built upon the hard work of our ancestors and the people who came before us.  Always remember to be thankful and humble and continue to build on their past successes.

The bright colourful fabric you see was purchased and collected by a friend of my sister’s while on a shopping outing.  I never met this friend, only heard of her through my sister. I was however, really taken by her selection of fabric, the choices she made, and the colours she was drawn to.  This friend passed away last week, leaving a gigantic hole in the lives of her family and friends. It was sudden, no warnings, simply a chill, and she was gone.

We never know in life when a change will be made in our circle of friends and loved ones.  It happens, life is what it is.

Perfect Liberty Principle #2 –  I will not have complaints about others, matters, nor the weather.  Rather I will always be creative and will look for shortcomings in my own thinking and actions.

Day 8 PL Calendar

First, accept everything

Life is filled with moments, sometimes happy and at times inconvenient.  It is important to first accept every situation as it occurs and try to accept and understand it for what it is.

Stash

stash feb 2

Good morning everyone, Bom Dia!!!

Stash, supplies, whatever we call our treasures that we collect  because we are attracted to them or find a simple pleasure in adding them to our collection.  Some have a small stash, and others of us, have hmmm let us say, a large variety of collections that we will do something with “some day” or eventually. =^_^=

Having spent the last year or so, in de-clutter mode, I can now more readily see what I have, and what I have ended up I find really interesting.  When I came home yesterday from another adventure through a snow blown countryside.  I saw that I had a lot of products from suppliers that were rich, vibrant and totally statement artists.

Even though the weather to most was a real “drag” if they were on the road trying to get somewhere, but for me and my charming companion, it was an “afternoon stroll”  Leisurely and fun, missing were the tea cups and small sandwiches.  Instead we rolled safely along in our cozy environment and caught up.  Part of the drive we were escorted by two huge city trucks clearing the highway in front of us.

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.  Eleanor Roosevelt

Perfect Liberty calendar day 3     Instead of worrying do something about it

bed lump

img_1722bedlumpA bed lump happens when your dog insists on helping make the bed.  Eventually I made it around and over her.  All I had was a lump, but then she got out, and left me with this. img_1721Before I could straighten up the mess.  Her brother took over her job of helping.  There he is calming cleaning himself up after his breakfast.  No hurry to move, and not concerned that he could be delaying my progress.  For my readers who share their homes with four-legged bundles of energy, you know that it is often such moments that can be endearing or…. trying on one’s patience.

Whether it is a loved one, a friend, a co-worker or total stranger, there is seldom a day that will go by when our “personal” agenda is not presented with a hiccup.

In PL, Principle #3…. I will live with a mind of appreciation towards others and things, and Principle # 5  .. I will not get angry at anyone or anything, are mantras I repeat during the day.

Precept # 15  All is a mirror.    How often in a day, does my behaviour, or something I say or do, cause someone else to pause.

My Mother used to say, ” it is not always about you”.  Over the years I have had many occasion to meditate on my actions, and the world around me, and how I react to it.  After all, Dad would say ” the choice is yours, you can let others dictate your mood/happiness, or your can know and appreciate your worth, let go and move on.’

A philosophical morning, you bet!.. to friends in Michigan, is deWitt, or Lansing somewhere that I can get to easily?

For those of you coming to church this morning, I will see you at church.  If you are unable to be with us in person, please say a silent prayer for World Peace.  Today is Feb. 1st.  the first day of the month.  Day of Peace service will begin at 10 a.m.

Have a grand day everyone, may it be a productive and rewarding day for you.
