TRUE HAPPINESS COMES FROM WITHIN
My thought as I drifted off to sleep –
Solitude offers stillness of one’s own being.
The joy of/in simple pleasures
Happy week-end everyone.
Society is always rapidly changing with the times. Keep your eyes and mind in tune with these changes and learn to deal with them proactively. Praying before taking action, changes the outcome. Have clear wishes and do your best. then something new will open up for you.
Do you remember door knockers? Have you ever used one? With the new year soon to begin.. we need to polish the door knocker so the new year spirits can open the door into the new year for us…. allowing for a shiny smooth entrance into 2025. New slate!

A visit to the Sahara, Marrakech and a peek at Chefchaouen
With the white world around us at the moment, those wishing for a white Xmas this year, got their wish. And, with the deep freeze we had for a couple of days there is hope that the longest skating rink in the world will open this year. So saying, when these pictures came in from one of our “world” travellers.. I wanted to share.. the picture lower left … had me wondering why a carpet is rolled up against the outer door? Could it be there for prayers… I have other pictures to share of the blue doors found in that part of Africa… watch for them. Isn’t the brave little flower delightful. Hope you are all having a wonderful end of the year…
*** If you face a situation head on, a Path will open up ***
No matter how hard the situation is, face it head on. If you approach it seriously you will be able to find a way to break through. Make today, a memorable day! Let’s try to put our whole heart into whatever we say or do, as our unique signature.

There was a picture I saw of our “traveller” riding a camel across the desert. it “almost” had me calling CAA for travel arrangements.. then I remembered, cold or extreme heat.. I like cool and cold. the memory of that time in Japan during one of their “heat waves” flashed across my gray matter… I’ll continue to be an arm chair traveller… cheers everyone! See you on Dan’s page,, he is on hiatus till Jan.9.25.. but have a look. https://nofacilities.com/2024/12/26/just-in-case-3/#comment-377595
We are formed and molded by our thoughts. Those whose minds are shaped by selfless thoughts give joy when they speak or act. Joy follows them like a shadow that never leaves them.

Leave the past in the past. What is important is what you are going to do now. Using the present as a starting point, move forward on a path towards improvement and progress.

If you are going to do something, choose to do it with joy and enthusiasm. By doing so, you will experience a deeper sense of beauty.
Silence is a practice
Silence reduces stress
Silence is a gift we give ourselves
Silence brings us to the here and now
This can be a busy time of year to many. The environment around us can be hectic, loud and forever in a state of motion. It is a time of year that people can find themselves struggling to keep pace with what is happening around them.
Pause, take a step back, stop rushing around, it is a time for quiet reflection… soon the new year will be here. Look at what is important to YOU. If you are going to do something, choose to do it with joy and enthusiasm. By doing so, you will experience a deeper sense of beauty,

Not only will it be the shortest day of the year.. weather is predicted to be 7 degrees colder than yesterday. Bundle up! enjoy the crispness in the air… have a joy filled day! Why? because you deserve it!
A thankful person will grow as an individual
When you are able to have a thankful attitude, you will be blessed with good intuition and more enthusiasm, which will continue to move things in a positive direction.

The art of sleeping. Something so basic… yet… often so difficult to achieve.
My furry companions were very good at encouraging, and showing me how…. Letting go… and simply …chilling… would be beneficial to my well being.
ie. not making the bed as soon as I get up… would not ruin my day, or spoil my relationship with the world.
and… Quincy has shown me that at anytime, one can close one’s eyes and just “turn off”
“You have your own way of doing things, and others have their way of doing things. Don’t worry about what other people will say.” Simply… allow life to guide you. when we are open to new ways of doing something, we expand our personal horizons.
