Doors are the keepers of “mysteries’ they come in all shapes and sizes, no matter the age, the shape, or location, they tell a story. These doors were all taken during my fun adventure on the Quebec side of the Ottawa river the other day. At any one time, it would have been near impossible to get pictures of these doorways because of all the visitors touring the pretty little town.
I had not intended to go to Merrickville today, but… this is where I ended up, it was another gorgeous day. I treated myself to lunch.. =^_^=
AND.. I did not eat all the fries. Another tick mark for good behaviour. =^_^=

The road was like a ribbon hugging the landscape .. the river on one side and the base of the Laurentians off to the North… It was breathtaking, I often wanted to stop, but due to the narrow old highway, with only the two lanes.. it was impossible, the solid no passing lines were very prominent. When I did dare stop, it was with emergency flashers and a quick scuttle out of the car .. off to the side of the road, and then back in to move out of the way of the endless parade of cars and trucks.
The clear sky held out for me.. the forecast had called for clouds, but Mother Nature was generous with her sunny disposition. Click on the pictures to get a better view of the scenery. =^_^=… The array of fall colour is well on its way… especially when I was well into the Laurentian tourist areas.
Good or Bad it is your mirror. Sincere expressions invite good results, but insincere expressions can lead to unexpected trouble.
