Zen moments

Looking out at animals calmly enjoying their time in the pasture.

Their only thought is to BE.

Not feeling 100% I took to my bed early, I thought I would listen to my body, and simply lie down.

Life has a way of getting in the way.

PL calendar day 27

Put all of your effort into the NOW.

You can only do your absolute best right this moment; not in the past, not in the future, but NOW

Bom dia dear friends, Greetings.. and blessings.

alexandria 8,4,a Good morning everyone, bom dia..

I was out of the city most of the week, travelling the roads…Gone are the fields of green, I was met with beautiful skies, that reflected the cooler temperatures, and the fields of white. Interesting how the sky actually looks bluer and the clouds whiter when below is a blanket of crystal white snow.

I love that the world is constantly providing us with an abundance of new vistas, opportunities and challenges. Letting go of what was, is an ongoing process of growth and new experiences.

PL calendar day 24 – Listen and See with careful attention and accept each other

Focus your “eyes” and “ears” towards the expression of others without any pre conceived notions. Then you will be able to see their true intentions.

Life is what we make of it. The choices are always ours.

Every new day is a blessing, each exchange with a friend, is a double blessing, for often through the eyes of our friends, we see a part of ourselves. Q

colour,col

Bom Dia, Saturday has rolled around again. I thought to share some of the colours I have captured in the last few weeks of roaming

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I couldn’t resist driving over to the other end of the parking lot to discover the myriad of colours I could see.

I am sure everyone was wondering what this elderly lady was doing behind the liquor store with her camera. But I was having fun, and isn’t that what life is all about.

The other day I was trying to explain that I am not a photographer, but an artist that uses her camera to capture textures and moods, that I can reuse, recycle into one of my expressions. Whatever right.. it is my fun, my hobby, and I love it. Just like I enjoyed trekking the harvested cranberry fields the other day in the rain.

Theses are trash bins I found in Chinatown the other day. My son and I had a philosophical conversation last night about life. It is always interesting to listen and learn from someone who has a different perspective on life. We take turns in being the grown up. LOL today’s PL Calendar, says it all.

Day 27 Put all your efforts into the NOW. You can only do your best right this moment, not in the past, not n the future, but now.

Thursday Doors

Happy Thursday everyone.. Bom dia.

Some doorways have a very open and spacious entrance. Others are more “this is what you get” and the tenants do their best to make it welcoming.

Then you leave the town and head out into the open country, the sights and sounds are very different. Yet always there are doors.

I got a tad turned around in my outing yesterday, found myself south when I should have been heading east. Ah who cared, I was out exploring and best of all, the sights of the fall colours was awesome. Meet my new friends…

He was a brilliant conversationalist, (both males) the blonde was less talkative. Sigh pleasures come from the most unexpected places. =^_^=

Remember, we are all responsible for the choices we make in life. Take time today to swing your happy into high gear. Happiness is a powerful positive energy.

PL Calendar day 25…. If you skimp on the paint, your painting will not turn out well. Live a fulfilled life every day by utilizing things, money, your knowledge or energy to their fullest.

My love and gratitude to you all.

Questions

Where does all our/your excess end up? That is material things, what about the baggage that can’t be seen or held?

What was, often still is. How often do you review, and tidy up. We think we do, but how deep do we dive.

What are your true intentions, Not just with others, but towards your “self” ??

PL day 24 Listen and see with careful attention. Not only to your words, but to your actions.

Oyashikiri

Bom dia, Uma maravilhosa quarta-feira a todos! (thank you Suzana for the translation) =^_^=

Happy Wednesday to you all, may the day be bright and welcoming.

meditation/prayer

hwy to alfred7

Stay awhile, simply stand, sit, wait, till the sounds around you, are the only thoughts you hear. Feel the breeze, take in the smells, you will feel you body start to relax.

hwy to alfred8 Walk slowly, for now, in this moment, you have no other place to be. SAy these words quietly to yourself, right now. Then close your eyes, take a deep breath, feeling your lungs expand smile then slowly open your eyes. Ahhhh how easy was that.

Go in peace my friend. You are loved.

Thursday Doors – 9.20

Charm of days gone by. There is so much to take in when you travel a back road. You have to know that you will not get anywhere fast, you simply accept the moments of discovery. This was the scene that beckoned loud enough for me to stop and actually get out. It is aged, tired and worn, but yet it is standing proud. Wind, snow, ice, rain, yes they have left their mark, but the place, for me , still had a quiet dignity. It stood, just off a paved road, but the surrounding land, was rich and bore the remnants of a bountiful crop.

I left today, open to the possibilities, and the Universe provided “seek and you shall find” PL Precept #1 Life is Art

The day was a happy one, and totally productive in a very creative way. I hope you enjoyed the same.
