Actions speak louder than words
Thank you everyone for your wellness wishes. It was a few rough days… but hey! it was then, today is today… we move on Cancelling all my appointments for the week… that in itself was an eye opener. I am supposed to be retired, why am I so busy… at one time I could turn to my p.a. and ask “why do I have meetings every day”.. why do I have to attend… bla bla bla… NOW I see… I am to blame… I do it to myself, AAAGGGHHH
Thursday
The snow is melting, yesterday I took the shovel to the big dump of snow on my deck it had been almost shoulder high, … the milder temperatures had me facing a pile of snow only about knee deep. I did clear some, I was (smart) enough to stop when I got tired. If it is mild again today and there is a bit of rain, it should rid me of what is left on the deck. I can put out my lay back and sun chair. Early spring is the best… too cool for most to be out, but I love it, especially when the sun is out. Yesterday my companion was the male cardinal, he was singing away… he is a romantic, he courts his female.=^_^=
Live today filled with enthusiasm
Life is an accumulation of the efforts you make, day by day. Live keeping in mind that “today” only comes once and live your precious life to the fullest.

They say seeing an owl is a good omen*. I saw the gray the other day as large as life, he was looking down at a photographer who was busy taking photos of him. I was a tad too far to get a good enough picture, but had this one Louis sent me the other day. What must this great bird think of the humans who stand out in the field everyday, pointing their arms up towards him with the big round glass objects. I wonder if he considers them at all.. are they a curiosity. Will never know will I.
I have seen the Barred Owl up close and personal, would be interesting to see the two in close proximity. The weather has turned mild, but then .. this is March and this is Ottawa, we could be basking in spring like weather, only to be visited by a wild, angry winter storm stamping and growling its way out of the region. Best get on my way… Have a good day everyone.

… for those interested in the dryer saga.. there is now a new compact dryer installed and operational.. almost had to deal with another refusal on the removal of the old one, but thanks to caring delivery personnel, the old one was taken away,
- I’ve seen how many, 4, 5, owls in the last month.

Music is a medium that brings people together, no matter what has been going on in your life, what drama has played out during the day, when you can sit back and just relax with the magic of a melody/song, let your mind and thoughts disappear into a world that transports you to another level of awareness. Mind altering. If you are lucky enough to be able to hear live music, and share that experience with others… it is a musical wonderland. Positive energy! Personal journey!

Whether you are happy or not depends on your perspective. The things that happen in your life are neither good nor bad. It is your perspective that determines whether the outcome is good or unfortunate.

Many of you know that I work and create in a virtual world called Second Life. Applying myself to learning how to work with the new software that is used by creators is something that both frustrates me and leaves me feeling a sense of accomplishment when I can achieve something as simple as learning how to build a male shape and what is involved .. the bodies and the huds are so different from that of the female avatars.
Benz one of my male avatars that I’ve used in my digital photography was due for a serious update. One of the “wow” factors was when dressing him, the creators of this avatar line, have it so that when I change his clothes, if I have had to alpha out parts of his body so the clothes (from another designer) fit properly.. when I undress him, his body magically reappears, This does not happen with the technology used by the creator of the female body I use. This was a fun surprise for me… all in all the hours spent learning a new skill is rewarding.
He went from looking like this… last year… to the picture on the right. this is a work in progress.. but I sure am chuffed. Look for Benz to make appearances in the near future. Who is that with Benz, that is Q, she is the original avatar from when I first began in SL in 2007… she has undergone many transformation… She has firmly told me.. she is retired.
