its that time of year when change is in the air, soon we will find ourselves with new colours and a different landscape even tho’ we will be walking the same pathways.
Change is and can be exciting. As the petals fall, and the leaves prepare for a new season, the ground will prepare for the coming winter and the cold. The vegetation that gathered energy all summer, has fed its roots so that come the time to “sleep”.. they will be content to rest till it is time to begin another cycle.

Sometimes in our quest for doors, we travel to different shores, and climb the highest of mountains, even take backroads just so we can find that “special door” In the small towns we find plenty of charming and inviting doors, truth be told we find them everywhere and in the strangest of places. the scene above is not a door in itself but when I saw it.. it took me into another realm / it peaked my imagination, it allowed me entrance to a very exciting and yet calm place.
The way Ian took the picture, see on the rock there is a dark area, that looks like it could be a hobbit door.. imagination, what a wonderful part of our Being.
