[Laziness] No matter how hardworking you are, you can call yourself lazy if you put off doing what you have to do because it’s troublesome or put off doing what you like first. What remains after being lazy such as “later…” is a pile of difficult problems that make you mentally tired every day. Isn’t it piled up with difficult problems? Let’s make each one interesting and enjoyable. Perfect Liberty 2021.12.24 (translated in Japan to English.)
With one thought, “the world” will change, changing your way of thinking will make a difference on how you perceive the world.
Not living in NZ, I cannot but imagine what it must be like to stand on the shoreline under such skies and taking this picture. I love the brooding oranges and dark clouds.
Shirley Keen, NZ
I went back into the file with her photos, and found this one, again.. she sees this on her walks every day/night… Not at all what I would see if I walked around my city street in the evening. We are all on the same planet, but our views, our geography is so different. The same applies in how we see life itself. We all experience love, pain, happiness, grief, but all in our own way.
Shirley took this next picture on one of her “walks” she ventured further than her immediate area, and walked along different paths.. One of the pictures she took ..(for me) was a “wow” moment.
Port Nelson. NZ
Because I live smack in the middle of a busy city, this is not something I would get to see unless I was on a holiday somewhere, and out for a walk in the evening. Even then if I wasn’t in the geographical area, where she was at the time of taking the picture, same longitude/latitude etc. I would not “see” or “capture” that same moment.
This is also what happens to us on/in a day to day, when we chat and talk with friends, we share experiences, and the friend will hear what we are saying and form their own “picture” of what is being said.. but they will never have the exact same experience.. this is why communication is so key in any kind of relationship. Personal, business or otherwise..
No one can take away the joy you get from putting your whole heart into something. The joy you feel when you’ve put your all into something is yours and yours alone. Nobody can take that away from you.
This morning I took off to find the wild turkeys, instead I found a group of crows.. there were only 4 – 6 of them.. I was pleased to see them.. you know I love my crows.
There were not familiar to me. I was in a different part of the city, they kept their distance. At least with this camera I could get a little closer to them.
I love the look on this fellow. He kept his distance, but didn’t fly off after I put out a bribe or two =^_^=

Life is for living. Make each moment of our day count.. Remember it is always important to take time for YOU. Self Care these days is paramount. This is a lesson I have to pay heed to myself, we tend to sometimes overdo… Seeing the crows today, when I was expecting wild turkeys was an “ah ha” moment, at first I was disappointed, then I realized .. crows are my favourite birds, I love crows.. and here they were just waiting…. it was an opportunity to make like the willow/bamboo and go with what was presented to me… Enjoy the crows … make new friends.. everything happens for a reason.!
this little guy came for breakfast at Dewberry fox sparrow -? @ Mer Bleuetaken today with new camera
same area with old camera (different time and day)
“To do” or “not to do” There is only one way. Although we may have many choices in front of us, in the end we must all make a single decision. Once you have made up your mind, move forward without hesitation.

Easy is the seed of ease . It is often said that “raku” is the seed of pain and bitterness is the seed of ease,” but when you thank “raku” and wish for the happiness of others, “raku is the seed of ease,” even more happiness comes around.
If you illusion that you have gained comfort as if it were your own power and forget to appreciate it, you will be a source of pain.
PL teaching from Japan as received 9.22.21
I will ask my “teacher” what she means, the translation or definition I found for raku is
History and Etymology for raku Japanese, literally, pleasure; from the use of the character for this word on a seal given to the family of the potter who introduced the style.
I will reflect on this passage.. I see it as a reminder that we are to be appreciative and grateful, not take things for granted.. not think only of ourselves but importantantly think of the happiness of others.
Your thoughts?
