A community that prays together, stands together… Yesterday one of our young members had a very “bad” day. We are all praying that he will have a speedy recovery and that his family and friends feel the power of our prayers.. A heartfelt thank you to everyone yesterday for rallying around at a time when we needed to join in prayer. I will be in touch later with updates. In faith we stand….in prayer we are ONE.

Love everyone – I want to be a person who can love, be kind, and forgive anyone without discrimination. When we love ourselves and everyone, “peace and welfare forever” will surely be realized.

If you take this from the bottom of your heart, it will be a mirror and things will get better. To open up your destiny, you have to be grateful for everything that appears before you, and do your best in prayerfully and with all your might.
Think of the timing before you say “but…” When stating your opinion, make sure you are being respectfully of others opinions. Be mindful of this when you speak.

This female Grosbeak is the only one I have personally seen this winter. Last winter we had so many of her “family /relatives” it was an amazing winter to spend time with them and watch their antics. This year she has been on her own. Thank you Daniel for this wonderful picture of her. Your patience was rewarded, and I’m delighted to be able to show her off to our readers.
His top picture was one I copied (with his permission) some time ago, I was having a difficult time with “grief” and a bit of “loneliness”.. This winter for some reason, even tho’ it will going on 4 years this spring, since my husband passed – I have had a few bouts of what I call “tortured anguish”. I found Dan’s picture (the top one) made me feel “peaceful” it helped me to touch deep within me.. I allowed my mind to focus on the softness and the gentle spirit that he captured when he took the photo.
I’ve seen him standing stock still in minus degree temperatures.. for long stretches at a time, he actually seems to become part of the landscape.. I’d come up to my feeders and not even realize that he was there, he would be so quiet and still. In meditation and prayer I have been known to sit in stillness lost in the moment of NOW. I’ve meditated/prayed in Grand Central Station, it is a quiet that takes time to master, but once we find that “state of Being” it is one we cherish. However we all know, it isn’t always easy to “BE” we can’t just flick a switch and we’re there.
You can be with God by having a prayerful mind. Let’s pray for World Peace. We are all one big family. Let’s start by praying for the happiness of those around us.
