Good morning. When an animal is content…. even if he is in the way. Do we move him? or let him stay?

Don’t let circumstances sway your decision. It does not help to overthink things. Sometimes we just need to make up our minds and move forward. (PL2022.6)

Wednesday

I want this moment back. But I can’t have it. Live each moment to the fullest, we can never get them back. Not a day goes by that I don’t ache with a memory of time shared with this bundle of loving energy. We think we have lots of time to do things, or call and touch base with someone.. The truth is, we only have NOW. don’t squander it with trying to change what is… Accept that today is another day, and live it the best you can.

With a prayerful mind, put your heart into everything you do. With a humble mind, take a second look. Even when you have put your best effort into something, there may be something you overlooked. (PL2014.7)

Monday

Live each day filled with hope. Even those situations when you feel trapped with no way out, face every challenge with purpose and enthusiasm and you will always find a way. (PL2019.2)

Cloudy, overcast, rain, fog, heat and humidity. Summer has arrived.

Smiles are the world’s treasure. If you smile more, there will be more smiles in the world. Be one of those who makes more smiles. (PL2023.23)

“Now” is always the start of something new. Leave the past in the past. What is important is “What you are going to do now” Using the present as a starting point, move forward on a path towards improvement and progress. (PL2014.24)

“now”

Put all your effort into the “now”. You can only do your absolute best right this moment, not in the past, not in the future, but now. (PL2018.27)

A mustard seed is a very small seed, that when planted it becomes a tree producing millions of mustard seeds. It doesn’t “think” “Oh, I’m really a tree, and I know I can be one, ” Once planted – if properly nurtured, it will just do it. When we believe and have faith that everything will turn out all right, it will be as it should be. The moment is fine, just as it is. whatever that may be.

today

Where has the day gone, as I sit and ponder the events of the day, I realized the time comes and goes so quickly, one minute it is time to get up and before I know it, it is time to call it a day. I have learned over time to try to live each moment with intent and purpose, yet no matter the day/night, when I actually stop to take in the moment.. I am surprised that much of the time came and went, and I am still looking at NOW.

Do What you can, with what you have , with where you are. (Theododre Roosevelt)

Here is a thought for you… do you agree?

Your feelings of appreciation become real when you express them. Express your feelings of appreciation by actually saying “thank You” out loud or by doing something to show how you feel. Not only will the person you are thanking feel good, but you will too, leading to better things in the future. (PL2014.210

Most of the shadows of this life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine. (Ralph Waldo Emerson)

It’s easy to place the blame on others and society for the problems you encounter in life. But you are the one with the power to change the outcome. (PL2019.28)

Breathe life into things and money.

The value of things and money is revealed when they are utilized as material to express yourself. Express your full Makoto (sincere effort) when using them (2014.20)

Loved this creative way of showcasing what was.. Touring along a dusty country road, where there was a lot lush vegetation, It was a refreshing sight to find an old barn that was being used as a backdrop for old pieces of rusting metal farm equipment and an old bike.

There is an implement on the bottom row that reminds me of the ice “tongs” used to grab big chunks of ice stored in “ice” barns.. in the days before refrigerators. Does seeing these old pieces remind you of another place and time? I see there is a bigger one upper left. I love rusted metals, can anyone shed light on some of the history showcased here?

Have a great start to your week!
