enjoy being ONE with this moment in time

Let your gratitude show in your words and actions.
When you live each day with a feeling of true gratitude, you and the people around you will be happy. Always remember to express your “thank you’s” out loud. (PL2017.21)

I saw there was a bend in the road ahead, should I go straight or take the turn and see where I land? Ever wonder what is around the bend? Driving along the long dusty road, I was enjoying the view, but there was a temptation to see something new.
Life can be overwhelming at times. Not everyday is a holiday, and not everyday, can friends come out and play.
“Now” is always the start of something new. Leave the past in the past. What is important is “what you are going to do now.” Using the present as a starting point, move forward on a path towards improvement and progress (PL2014.24)
Till soon…

When something comes to mind, do it right away.
The moment that you notice something is the best time to take care of it. If you react quickly your life will be more efficient. (PL2020.18)
Do you make ghoulish greeting cards for the witching month?
Oyashikiri
Yes I do…it came over me.. cutting, folding, stickers, pockets, labels, time to be creative.
Be someone who can share your joy with others.
Strive to truly understand the feelings of others. by doing so, you will be able to share in other’s happiness. PL2014.18

The bigger the task, the more your convictions are tested.
Whenever you are undertaking a huge task, you may encounter resistance. Don’t give up, and let strong resolve carry you to completion, (PL2014.17)

Hear the roar as the water rushes by…. in life…. time slips away … we don’t even notice…. but… one minute you are starting the day… and before you know it… the day has come to an end.
The colours right now are magnificent. I took part of yesterday to drive along country roads that were bordered by the trees that are alive with their fall wardrobe. Living in a part of the world where we are blessed with 4 distinct seasons, is pure JOY.
Let’s put our whole heart into everything we do, even if it’s something as simple as pushing a button.
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving everyone…

A charity rally yesterday, bikers ready for the start of the tour. It began in Plantagenet Ontario, and was going to end with a spaghetti dinner in Alfred later in the day. The weather was awesome for the ride, good showing, and hopefully a successful event for the fund raisers.
A cheerful smile and expression makes everyone around you happy.
When you do everything with a smile, not only you but the people around you will feel good. Always remember to put on a happy face. (PL2014.15)
There is a sense of freedom when you ride a bike that I’ve been unable to replicate over the years. I’ve toured before, years ago now, but the feelings that I acquired from the rides has never gone away, I still smile when I see another rider on a touring bike go by. Noted yesterday although there were a lot of couples who rode together on the same bike. Many of the ladies had their own ride. THAT was a pleasure all on its own. I was given riding lessons MANY years ago for my birthday… but I was never brave enough to follow through. I liked being a passenger. =^_^= Spent many happy hours on a Honda Gold Wing.. and a Tiger (Triumph)
Cheers everyone.. make today a day of SMILES…

Many of the riders were from the Hawkesbury Harley Davidson club… sorry there were too many bikers to get a full picture of all participants and the various clubs that participated. If anyone knows or has information, please let me know. There were all makes and models of bikes there.
