Rocks

I have a soft spot for rocks. There is something about a rock that seems to be so attractive and mysterious at the same time. I have never come across a rock that I have not enjoyed meeting. They come in all shapes and sizes, for sure some are more valuable than others.. depending on their composition… For me.. they are story tellers. Each one has its very own unique story line. This group with the water as a backdrop appealed to me, I studied it for some time. There was a seating area near by…

is this not inviting?

I dared not sit .. I wanted to badly, but I was not dressed for the brisk freshness of the early morning. It will be my “destination” on another day. the above rocks are just off to the left of this wonderful chair. I picture myself there on one of our famous “indian summer” days lazily allowing the day to wash over me.

Treat today as if it your first time around. Just because you succeeded in the past ti doesn’t guarantee that things will go as smoothly this time around. Every day, each moment, there is a new challenge to face.

I will get to see the rocks in a different light, I will be curious to see if the same images appear. Enjoy the coming week… Sleep sweet dreams this evening, and if it is morning when you read this.. have a stunning day!

make it happen

It was a cool day today, there was a strong wind, and few people on the beach. Being a Saturday of a long week-end, the last before we march into the fall season, I expected there would be more people

Nice and quiet. There would be more people … the cars were pulling in steadily, with the promise of sun for most of the day, the scene would change soon enough. After all, it was not yet nine a.m.

Don’t give up!

Stick with it, as many times as it takes. Sometimes you want to just throw in the towel and say, “I give up” but that is the time for you to dig deep and push through. Your sincere effort will invite a good outcome.

embrace “NOW”

Good morning, did you actually watch the video. My Mother was hooked on old movies, especially the ones with song and dance numbers.

My friends I love them all. Each one of t hem has a different “musical” bent, and personally I love them all. (not at the same time =^_^= .. But I do enjoy the many different “vibes”.

I never did get to line dance, but I have friends that are crazy crazy for the activity. I’ve been going back over some of my favourite tunes, and realize that i do enjoy the foot tapping songs. They are happy and put me in a good mood. Can’t help but get up and boogie or sit in my chair and do some “chair stomping”

Hopefully one of the above clips will have you wanting to get up and move. These past months, weeks and days, so many of us are not get getting out and moving around like we used to. We do need to move, and we need to drink a lot of water. Two things so easy to do, but.. for some reason, we don’t get to follow through on our good intentions.

Embracing the moment, is important now more than ever. We are all in this together. These times of “unknowns”… we need to be supportive of each other. Listen carefully to our friends, and do our best to understand, what their “moments” are really like.

This next song is just because, I really love listening to it.. =^_^=

Thank you all for spending this time with me… I hope one of the tunes, gave you a moment of pleasure. Music is a form a “therapy”.. dancing is “therapy”…. give yourself some pleasure today, you deserve it. Make your own”music”. move in a way that embraces all the love and joys you could ever want. Create your own “NOW”

Don’t allow anyone or anything put you in a box or on a shelf. Life is for living.

a smile a day!

makes for a happier healthier day

Good morning everyone. Came across this picture of my Porti*, Canaille was my little heart throb. I miss her every day. She was one of these personalities that could always bring on a smile Even on the grumpiest of days, she had a winning way. (* Portuguese Water Dog)

We are starting a new month. Let’s make sure we bring our happy face to share with others, every single day.

Always think that “everything will work out” When you allow yourself to be pessimistic, your thoughts and actions become sluggish. Approach everything optimistically without hesitating.

Happy Happy

Express yourself cheerfully. When you are happy, your positive outlook will not only brighten your own day, but give energy to the people around you.

Perfect Liberty 2017.29

Do things in moderation. Whenever you overdo something you will lose balance in your life. Express yourself appropriately without being overly attached or detached.

chop suey moment

I’m having flash backs and feeling fractured.. Ever get that way? Your parts are all together, at least most of them are.. but somehow, your assembly isn’t sitting well on your frame.

These are pictures taken from my files..Sometimes pictures say more than words. This way the viewer gets to attribute their own “storyline” to what they see.

Back when Chinese food was being introduced to the North American palette, cooks used whatever vegetables that they could find that were fresh and in season. Seldom will you find Chop Suey made the same way from one restaurant to another, never mind one county or geographical area to another.

This moment will pass. they always do. What did I saw the other day, Learning is a lifelong process. =^_^=

Remember that learning is a lifelong process. No matter your age, there is something to be learned and there is always room for improvement. always remember that there is wisdom to be gained from any situation.

Be creative in your efforts. If something is not going well, take a step back and look at how you are tackling the problem. There is sure to be something you can improve on.

Friday 21st.

Here we are, another Friday, today tho’ is not just another Friday it is the 21st. for PL members this is the day we attend church for a special Thanksgiving day service. Reminder this evening 7 pm. Eastern Daylight Time.

Your feelings of appreciation become real when you express them. Express your feelings of appreciation by actually saying, “Thank you” out loud or by doing something to show how you feel. Not only will the person you are thanking feel good, but you will too, leading to better things in the future.

In life, the changes we live don’t always show up, like it did in the above pictures. (of my avatar China) But the happenings around us, can impact us, emotionally, and mentally in ways that do leave us with a profound sense of change, and we are left to struggle and relearn to find our “balance”

I used China as an example today, because, it took months, weeks and days, for me to realize that visually she needed a make-over. Then it took hours and hours of trials and redos.. for me to get this far. I have to give a huge shout out to Truth Wizardly who when I asked for help in the chat group came to my rescue. (Truth is a blogger for various designers in SL Glam affaire and Lelutka being two of them)(see him Flickr)

When we make a change in our lives or have one thrust on us, the adjustments take time, and they require patience. In the case of upgrading my avatar, like buying a new car, everything is new and technology has moved on from what you had previously. there is a learning curve.

If we live with appreciation in our hearts, and accept that some of our “realities” will incur deep emotion and require “letting go” With acceptance, and the desire to move on.. We will grow with the changes in our lives… to become even more of the “person” we hope/strive to be.

Ian’s picture is pure “magic” … thank you Ian!
