Is there a sound to grief. When a loved one dies.. leaves our world leaving us to adjust to continuing on the journey on our own. No one told me of “grief attacks”or the immediate excruciating pain that can be triggered by a “memory”
I was not told to expect exhaustion and disruption, I was told that early grieving is perhaps the hardest work you will ever do.
Without your former companion, you no longer have a “mirror” to reflect back to you who you are and what you want in life. Now only you can furnish the answers by getting to know yourself.

Grieving requires an enormous energy, but pretending that you are not grieving requires even more.

Even so, there is an edge to every piece of the puzzle, how it fits, can be seamless, so that you really barely know that it was an individual piece .. now that it is placed it becomes part of a greater/bigger picture. Yet within the picture it will always be one piece of a whole, and that whole will have its own edges.

The early morning sunlight was just out of reach as we rounded the bend. The soothing sound of the spring run off making its way to the river is a melody I hope will never end.
With the morning stretching into noon, I thought of turning around, but somehow, I found myself lingering. You’ve fed my need for make believe & replaced my dreams with reality. This has opened up my senses to the awakening energies in the earth, the life force in the trees, and the texture and shapes of all of nature’s bounty.
We met and simply never parted, it was forever from the start. This is written in the wind, and sung by the sparkling waters of the stream.. Harmonizing in the background, is the sweet songs of the many birds who live in this little bit of paradise.
Here on planet earth is an oasis of love that is repeated over and over again in different vignettes all over the world. -Q-
Always think that “everything will work out” When you allow yourself to be pessimistic, your thought and actions become sluggish. Approach everything optimistically without hesitating.

The other day I got this idea for a song. That worked when I lived across from a musician and we could work on ideas whenever we got in a creative mode. ie. we each had time at the same time. That was years ago, Dave has since moved on with his life, and I mine. Until recently I have been happy writing my blogs and short story lines.. But the other day.. these words came to me…that to me, were not a story, but.. I could hear them with a melody. A lot of good that is .. since I do not play an instrument , yet…its an idea I want to explore.
This is one of the plus items.. on being home. I get to pull out my project drawers and either rediscover them or purge them. so much can happen in a short period of time.
The emotion and music of love takes on so many different faces.I am rediscovering the music in my life.
Please make time this month and every day for the rest your life, to grow in love … to reach out and embrace the world around you with renewed vision. There is only now.. the past is long gone.. have faith, love unconditionally.
Harmony brings us peace. let’s strive to always maintain good relationships and in the community we live in. at home

Sometimes, no words are needed. The stance, eyes, ears, say it all. When we look at partners, friends, family, the look might not be as obvious, but there sure is a current that crackles. There is not too much we can do about the reaction of others to our “choices” except, agree to disagree. We are individuals, life would be boring if we were all the same.
No one can take away the joy you get from putting your whole heart into something. The joy you feel when you’ve put your all into something is yours and yours alone. Nobody can take that away from you.
