Doors

How often do you walk past a door, get so far, stop and then walk back to have another look. Some doors are simply too interesting to ignore. Others stand silently blending in with their surroundings, and some exist only in your “mind”. All represent a pathway or opportunity to explore something different .. the first photo is of a fence not a door .. but I saw it as a gateway to (the other side of the fence) The photographer who took the picture, gave it a “story” I just couldn’t pass it up.
The second photo, is believe it or not, a doorway for a feathered friend… who by the looks of it, is going to be visited by a pesky squirrel.
The other doors are ones that are there for a purpose, the settings, the time of day the pictures were taken, all give the photos an air of “mystery” …… what was their daily life like. I want to open each one and peak into the interiors.
It’s easier to adapt to something when we find it interesting. No matter how enjoyable a situation is, a slight change in our attitude can make it boring. Let’s face any situation with curiosity and enthusiasm.
