Hi everyone. I asked Ron about the gate that got so much attention yesterday he sent me pictures from the area, the big Abbaye de Sainte Foy draws a lot of tourists, The door I used last time, let me see if I can find it… was in that Abby but he wasn’t allowed to take pictures beyond the door, due to the treasures within.

now we know, what lies beyond this door, and what it is a part of.

Bom dia. Today’s thought… It is a simple one and one we so often neglect to practice.

Good morning, have a look.. that last gate, isn’t it interesting? I wondered, if it was still used, and how deep was/is the drop going up or down once it is opened, The red one I found inviting, probably because it is red. The first one, is forbidding, I’m not encouraged to explore there, to me, it says, Keep away! What are your thoughts? Which one should we explore? I’m game !! ?

In the calm of the the silvery moonlight I lay… letting the silence wash over me,

there was only the gentle lapping of the waves

as they rolled gently over the shoreline before quietly slipping back into the vast expanse of night.

A little nothing time is so important, have you scheduled one for today? (call it zero time) Even if it is only 5, 10 minutes .. maybe even 3… just do it. schedule a mini break just for YOU. You will be amazed at how having these few mindful moments … a deep sigh, an intake of breath, hold it.. then slowly let it go. you are special, YOU deserve this time. think…. I am busy doing nothing... and smile.

Remember how you felt in the beginning. doing the same old thing monotonously without thought will stifle progress. When you get stuck, go back to the beginning and start fresh. (PL2015.14)

Needle Felting anyone. When I saw this puzzle I wanted to run to my stash and reproduce it. Felting is such a relaxing and rewarding “hobby”. Then I thought it would be fun to stitch, my sister told me about a “new” pastime called “slow stitching” I think that is what she called it? Do you know? Does it inspire you?Is it the colours or the softness, it has dimension! depth! What do you see?

Open up opportunities by being proactive.

Opportunities don’t just come knocking on the door. Use your enthusiasm and energy to bring good fortune your way.

Good morning… thank you all for your encouraging words, Quinn and Quincy are getting along very well. They settled in very nicely, he is a gentle “old” soul, watches out for her, and doesn’t let her get away with any of her nonsense. He is a little over 2 years old and she we think is about 10 months old.

Today the 11th we celebrate Ancestors’ Day in the PL community. Through this ceremony we express our gratitude for the love and virtues of our ancestors and ask for their protection and guidance so we can continue to live the PL Way!

If you cannot be with us today at church .. take a moment of silence around 10 a.m. to express your appreciation …give thanks… life is good…

Live expressing your own unique self in your day to day life. We each are given our own duties and roles in life. Take the time to find what makes you unique, and you will be able to live your life expressing your own individual beauty.

How many roles do you play/live in one day?

On antibiotics, I have given in to the need to R E S T … ok. what does that mean.. for me, it means, I take myself off to my room where it is quiet, I lie down and just let the weariness and the tired claim my body. I gave in and bought a Ninja and made myself a banana, fruit and yogurt smoothie. Yes, I did get a Starfit and after putting it together, filling it with the ingredients, I turned it on and nothing happened. Nothing

After several attempts, I simply left it on the counter and yesterday I got the Ninja, unpacked it, transferred the fruit etc. into the new Ninja, pushed down, and voila.. an ice cold smoothie. I’ll learn, buy what you want in the first place, I made a decision based on the cost.. and it was a total waste of time. I didn’t save money it cost me more time and money. Now I have a dud I have to repackage, and take back, waste more gas and time doing something I could have avoided, if I got what I wanted in the first place.

On the plus side, I am enjoying the freshly made, very cold, smoothie. Easy wash up too.

You can just tell the climate is not the cold of today.. the picture was taken just a few days ago but in another part of the world. It is amazing how at the same time I was dealing with a cold that chills to the bone, a friend was wandering and taking in the sights in the Dominican Republic.

We walk around and tend to our lives (cuz we are in the moment! right!) yet someone else, at the exact time, is experiencing his/her life in a completely different way. That is what is so awesome about the world we live in. Our opportunities are so vast, so diverse. and yet…. we often find ourselves going up and down the same street, and never going beyond what is “familiar” to us.

Have you stepped out of your comfort zone lately?

Don’t be swayed by the past; It’s what you do from now on that counts. Your failures as well as your successes are now in the past. Always look towards the future and start with a fresh outlook.
