For those of you who remember it from the distant past, but couldn’t recall the meaning .. except that it seemed to a favoured expression. This is one possibility…
Whatever, you can breathe a sigh of relief, I have found enough information, I will let it go now =^_^= it just stuck in my craw, I didn’t have a clue. I learned about bees though and have been impressed with what I learned. The bee is very valuable to our survival, AND, it is a positive energy, it lives to give life to others. It is tireless in its quest, and lives a life of service.
It goes happily about its business, buzzing and collecting, visiting 1000’s of flowers in a day.

I’ve had enough….These moments pass, but while they are being lived,everything inside feels chaotic, jumbled and turned around. The stomach is unsettled, the mood is “dark” When I was still actively working my practice, I would ask..”when is the last time you danced?” More often than not, the answer was vague, they didn’t recall it was so long ago, or it would be a straight out, “I don’t dance” Dancing is an art form, it is a form of expression, and yes, to some it comes more easily then it does for others.
To be a professional dancer, one must have a passion for the working of the body and mind, in a continuous need,desire to perform, to be able to use your body in every conceivable way to express movement, fluid and flowing, using every muscle in your body, your mind focused so that not a miniscule of energy is anywhere else but in that moment.
Our bodies are important in the managing of our health and our well-being. Dance, in whatever form it takes in your life is a necessity in maintaining a balance between the “yin” and “”yang”, negative and positive in life. You cannot have one without the other.
Even if you just reach and stretch your arms up into the sky above
or out to touch the walls on either side of you, do it with the intent to stretch out as far as you can, then slowly release, exhaling as you do, it well be such an exhilarating feeling, your body will go “wow”..
Stretching is an easy way to begin bringing more activity into your life, it is with slow small steps that we increase our awareness of the body.
Our bodies are our very own, our personal shrine for all that is divine within us.
Practice doing a dance move every day. Don’t let it slip away, do it.
Your body will be with you till the very end. Open your eyes to the need it has to survive and carry you through till you are ready to let go.
With the technology in our lives today the need to have a telephone available in public places has all but disappeared. Interesting to note though, that in some remote areas, or smaller villages cell phones and internet access is not always easily obtained. Yet, because of the lack of use .. the public phones are fast becoming non-existent. Heaven forbid you get stuck along a country road between communication towers, or in a deep valley with a lot of mountain between you and the air waves needed to work your cell.
With central air, and many controlled environments in public areas,, buildings, and newer housing complexes. We don’t use windows like we used to. Where at one time I knew many many co-workers and acquaintances who went to cottages and out into the rural areas for most of the summer… I don’t hear of that as much now. The back road summer havens are slowly finding less and less activety … the lakes and rivers are not humming with constant activity.
Yes, creative minds are still at work, all around we see the creative mind at work. We live in a society that says, individual rights and freedom of expression is important. AND it is. However, there are times, when we should be looking at how our needs/wants affect others. AND we should care.It isn’t always about what we want, I appreciate and enjoy looking at the above bed, do I want to sleep in or on it, no. Everyone around us, is a unique human being, yet they are all part of who we are… they share the same air, they think and feel emotions, hurts, love, sadness, just like we do.
Some will want to walk along a path that will mystify and rattle your nerves, Yet hearing about their journey and seeing the world through their eyes, is WoW… exciting. You can share the experience, just not in the same way..
This is an experience I would like to one day explore. For years I would drive by a frozen waterfall, and wonder what it would be like to climb the frozen sculpture I passed it 5 days a week, going to and coming home from work. I’ve not done it yet, but it remains a goal. I may never get to actually climb such a might fall as this one, but never-the-less I keep the desire alive by sharing the passion and exhilaration of those who can and have…. Modern technology is such that today, I can easily find and enjoy a glimpse into what someday might happen.
I’m so happy. Happiness is such a good state of mind to be in. What is it about being happy that makes a day seem brighter, chores less of a burden, its a feel good feeling.
When we are cheerful, it affects those around us, it tends to make for a more pleasant day, AND everyone wants to be part of the “smile”

St.John’s work (Hypericum) 5 yellow petals, is a perennial herb. It is believed to help with relief for overwhelming stress and negative feelings. It makes me happy just looking at it. Erect stems and trailing rhizomes. hmmmm share my happy?
When we smile and have a pleasant attitude, we encourage those around us to feel the joy and share in the positives in life.

There are many ways to express ourselves, workout, find ways to keep in shape, not only in body but in spirit. It was when I joined a gym that I got to really work with a punching bag. Until that time I had only tried cardio kick boxing, where you bounce and jab into the air etc. Then one day I found myself alone in the lower gym where the boxing classes were held. No one was around so I tentatively put on a pair of gloves and walked over to the punching bag. I could only mimic what I had seen others doing, I made sure no one was around to see me (so conscious was I on looking foolish) before I took a punch at the bag. It was a soft punch, but it felt good. I liked the feeling of skipping back and forth and taking aim, then landing a punch. I maybe played around with it for 2, 3 minutes, it was invigorating. In those few minutes I had bumped up my heart rate and felt that I should come back and check out a class. I did go back and what I saw the participants doing was a steady grinding workout, not just having fun doing what I had done, they were working out, warming up all the muscles, push ups, core work, it was total focus on whole body training.
I told myself I’d have to think about it some more and returned to my old reliable treadmill. Still to do on my bucket list is to go back and have another go round in the gym with the punching bag. You asking yourself what does exercise have to do with self expression? In my humble opinion it has a lot to do with how we process thought and keeping physically active/healthy. 20 years ago I might have been more pro-active in attending a boxing class. Now in my “senior” years, I tend to see my body in a different way, I want it to be strong, flexible, and healthy, but I recognize that it has limitations. Often it is the voice inside my head.
See what this gal is doing, this looks like fun to me. This I would like to try. I would also like to try the exercise where they run through tires that are laid out on the ground. Mind you in slow motion. When I do exercise, I feel that I am expressing a part of me that wants out, an energy that wants to be released. Whether running backwards around the gym, or doing karate kicks while I do upper body punches, I’m being active, I’m letting my body work out the kinks from spending hours at a PC. The dialogue is with me, myself and I.
When we learn to express ourselves freely and vivaciously, we feel better about ourselves, and we radiate an inner calm that benefits not only ourselves, but all around us.
