U give smiles
Unintentional it was… but somehow I have friends out there with creative minds.. and fun thoughts. I had so many smiles from the responses I got on the post yesterday. I thought I’d throw out another one to you today. LOL it was a busy day, (mine seem to always be).. and when I’d check in on my PC I’d find delightful comments on yesterday’s photo. I had used the picture because it made me smile remembering how I’d gotten out of the car to take the pictures.. and the reactions from other shoppers… BUT.. viewers/readers saw something different.. I loved it.. Love love loved it!
Don’t give up! Stick with it, as many times as it takes. Sometimes you want to just throw in the towel and say, “I give up”, but, that’s the time for you to dig deep and push through. Your sincere effort will invite a good outcome.

Good morning =^_^= if you have been with me along this journey for some time, you may recall this photo. It was taken around the time my husband passed away. The car was totaled. Ask me today, anything about that time, if I was hurt, what happened.. it will be two years in the spring, yet I can only give you a vague recollection. I would have to stop, and think back, focus on that time. I won’t do it. Why, because the Universe saw me through that time period. Now, I am living the experiences and adventures of today. “be in the now” (PL)
What I hold dear is the memory of the many years we had, the blessings that our togetherness was strong, that we held on to the Oneness that was US.
Are you running or standing still, are you dreaming or living your precious moments here on earth. ?? When you are faced with the turmoil and challenges of outside elements that want nothing better but to cause destruction. Are you able to say.. I have my quiet place. There is genuine love in this world, and step by step, inch by inch, those who believe in love and the UNIVERSE in and around us… will live in PEACE .

walk a crooked mile
We have all had that moment where we look down a road, path, or street and wonder where it leads.I am one who is always intrigued with what is around the bend. “honey, just a little further, please, let’s see what is up around that bend” and when we get there, I coax for maybe just another mile or two.
One day, we simply turned a corner, and he stopped the car. (back road)
“Now look around and see just how many vistas you see from here”… new concept. Usually it would be when we were in another Province or State. The challenge was there to find my next story line.
For me I can just stand in one spot and look in all directions till I spot a place that draws me into a line of thought, that begins to tell a story. I’m hooked. I want to sit down and start writing .. of course I can’t, I’m on the road, and if I write it down in that moment, it won’t have the opportunity to grow in my imagination.
Others can stop for a coffee, or another kind of pick me up, for me .. its the little gems of visual settings, and backdrops that tease and encourage me to paint, write, sculpt. I love it. I love these gifts from the Universe. my joy isn’t in a commercial environment, but rather when I am out discovering a new day.
Live radiantly as the sun. Strive to always be bright and cheerful so you can enliven those around you.

FYI the Chinese New Year this coming lunar year will fall on January 25th. For many the close proximity of the two new year celebrations will mean a lot of activity and energy. The Chinese new year is focused very much on “family”. Leading up to this important time of year, we “clean” our “homes”, physically and mentally.

Thursday doors
Driving by I spied out of the corner of my eye, this quiet lady, sitting prim and proper on a hill. Her land had been farmed, ready for the blanket of snow that would soon cover the sleeping fields.
I couldn’t pass her by, I found a place to turn around, and made my way up the hill. I found her interesting, there were no cobwebs and hanging weeds between her boards, it was as if the fairies had come and swept her clean. Even her faded walls are nicely shaded as if penciled or charcoal -ed, against the winter skies.
For now I’ve dubbed her Lady Finch. Maybe I will get to see her again, when she is sun bathing on a mid-summer day. Anything is possible. =^_^=
Don’t be swayed by the past; It’s what you do from now on that counts. Your failures as well as your successes are now in the past. Always look towards the future and start with a fresh outlook.

Good morning everyone… the season is on us. Songs on the radio, a special channel devoted to the music of the season. On the telly we have the Hallmark channel already showing their “feel good” movies. What about us, you and me, the marketing departments, the promotions, adverts, they are all prepared. In the States I guess it will happen real quick like once their Thanksgiving is over. No I don’t usually speak this way, (real quick like) but I liked the sound. The keys flowed with a rhythm.
It is early, but the snow machines are out, I can hear them rolling down the sidewalk. In some way, form or another, we have started to think of how we will portion ourselves up to be with friends, family and loved ones. On a personal level, we are not companies that can delegate and assign different tasks to various departments to reach a goal, we have to do it for ourselves.
In a conversation recently it was suggest that I be the adult and this meant in the situation we were discussing, that I should be more responsible myself. and take action accordingly. Had me wondering just what it means to be an adult. We (as parents) were the ones rushing around getting gifts, hiding them all to make “others” (we hoped) happy an surprised on Xmas day. But……………………. what about us, the individual, what is it about being an adult that sets us apart, from the ones who have dreams and wishes. Why are we responsible for making others happy.
In PL we believe that each and everyone of us, is responsible for US. If I cannot make myself happy, how can I expect someone else to make me happy. Be true to one’s SELF. We live a moment and we move on. Also we want others to be happy and we do our best to open our hearts to them. That is why we pray for the guidance to enable us to be a “good person” and to do our best for others and society. Adult or otherwise*, these are the teachings of PL.
PL Principle 1 (of of 21) I will live paying careful attention, putting Makoto (sincerity) into all I say and do.
