Good morning everyone, these were the colourful blooms outside the window of the social room at the church yesterday. The lovely pink flowers on the left were the subject of much conversation. No one remembers planting them, or seeing them before. In fact, everyone present remembered t hem as being an orange before? So dear readers… do these flowers have a habit of changing colours as they make their way through the growing cycle? I know that many of you are plants wonders….thoughts?
When you face difficulties, start with anything you can do. When you are able to grasp the situation, you will surely be able to notice something that you can do.

I am reminding everyone early, that on August 1st. we will be celebrating Founders’ Day (Kyososai), watch for announcements. Service is usually at 10 a.m. through this ceremony we rededicate ourselves to the teachings of PL (Perfect Liberty) and the realization of World Peace.
Where do days go that get lost? How come today is another day, yesterday was Sunday, did I miss it? I think not. It was a busy day, one of those days where it begins at 5:20 a.m. give or take… and the next thing you now its after 9 pm and you are tired, and ready for bed. Let me see, a friend got married Saturday evening, a lovely ceremony, I did the photos, posted them, and then.. yes, I got to bed at a reasonable hour, why did my day Sunday start so early? Guess I just won’t know where the day went, after all, it is time now to focus on today.
Babble, babble, chatter, a fleeting memory and then poof … its been replaced by some other idea/thought… pause.. review yesterday’s lesson …
It’s easier to adapt to something when we find it interesting. No matter how enjoyable a situation is, a slight change in our attitude can make it boring. let’s face any situation with curiosity and enthusiasm.

I am forever grateful for all of you who share with me over the days, months and yes even years. Whether it is with your waves, hello/greetings, or the time you take to share your wonderful thoughts/experiences. Life is richer when we share, when we care about others, and when we grow in appreciation of the world around us and all that it has to offer.
“In the infinity of life, where I am, all is perfect, whole and complete.” Be open to the abundant flow of prosperity that the Universe offers. “My good comes from everywhere and everyone. All is well in my world” (Louise L. Hay)
Good morning.. everytime I see this little beauty I try to recall its name??? and the story about it. It is an old timer been around for ages.. Can anyone remember what it is called or what it was used for? It is a plant found along country roads..at least here, it is not a plant that is cultivated…
Have a joyful day by being a little more creative. you will enjoy your day more by adding a little creativity to your daily activites.

I have a few doors from one of my recent drives. Not spectactular, but they have purpose and being a door, they always need to be “admired”… these are solid.. and very useful in their purpose. They are on a main street, and I felt they commanded authority. =^_^=
Eyes wide and staring – mouth open in horror – what happened to the rest of me !!!!
Don’t let circumstances sway your decision. It does not help to overthink things. Sometimes we just need to make up our minds and move forward.

I’ve collected bits and pieces of this wonderful big old tree that was downed during the storm. I’m using some of the pieces in the storm art . (mixed media) I’m working on… so far.. I’m experimenting.. this tree had a long life, it was home to many many wildlife, insects, fungi, it will be missed.
….. when nothing is sure, everything is possible …..
These little gems are delighting the viewers by peaking up along the trails between all the many shades and hues of greens/browns/grays that are in view as I amble along the trail looking for wood to carve. I am searching out smaller pieces of wood that I can use on the “storm art ” I am visualizing and want to put on canvas.
After the storm there are twigs, branches, all kinds of debris to sort through.. the need is to slow my pace and explore each side of the trail as I make my way slowly along. Everyday I walk (sometimes the same trail) and every day it is always different.

I call these new expressions. storm art … my mind is having a hard time settling down.. the small slivers of wood I’ve gathered from fallen trees I’m combining with acrylic paint to produce dimensional Storm Art expressions.. It is helping me to chill. There are three pieces in the one on the left.. … you can see the others in the second one betterI included shavings in the second one.. I’ll explore and try different methods. you can see the wood chips I’m playing with lying against the base of the small canvas’s. 5×7
Thank you all for your kind words, and the thoughtful messages.. I appreciate you .. each and everyone of you… It may take me awhile to regroup and find my footing.. but I will.

*Silent and Still
This little nook is a special place for me, I had the log moved from a creek that runs through the woodland. A friend helped me get it to where I wanted it.. ( a fellow photographer who reached out when I first started to go into this particular spot.. you meet the nicest people when you wander and “live” in the woods.)
It was for me to sit on when I was with the birds during the late fall and winter season…. it ended up being used by visitors to put seed on for the birds as well as a place to park to get pictures of the birds and animals feeding.
Simple it has a purpose.. I found the other day that in the silent stillness of the forest (it is still closed off due to possible dangers of more falling branches/ trees) it was welcoming. It drew me over .. I sat a spell and listend to the gentle sound of a light rain on the world around me…. the buzzing of the skeetos that were checking me out were part of the moment. In the distance I heard a bird or two, but it was otherwise quiet.
I took this little beauty last year on one of my early walks at Petrie Island, there were a lot of them, this one stood long enough for me to grab a picture. This year so far I’ve only come across the odd one here and there, mind you our weather has been up and done, mild, cold, warmer, rain, then just to make it more interesting snow.
Put your heart into your words. Do you tend to speak in just a matter of fact tone? It is important to put your heart into your words.

2022/04/18 Red clover The flower language is “honesty.” The beginning of the day! I’ve been feeling good since this morning. If you’re in good shape, You can spend the whole day comfortably ^^ “How do I do this day?” I think I’ll make myself happy.” said he, looking in the mirror. Ask yourself a question yourself. The brain is very honest. An antenna that looks for happiness. They’ll stand it up. on a happy day Maybe it will be (violet) (four-leaf clover) Translated in Japan to English
I met this photographer some time back, even before I saw his website and his Instagram, I was impressed with his focus and attention to detail. He could look up into the tree tops and point out the birds looking back at us. I actually didn’t even notice him at first, he had been standing a few feet away from me … just observing waiting … I was at the feeders.. tending the birds.
Over time I got to see him often enough that we got to speak to one another. He shared some of his pictures and I was an immediate fan. The other day I found him (minus zero weather) on the ground along a country side road in much the same position as you see him above, but waiting for the robins and their friends to return to a small puddle of open water to drink and bathe. His patience and attention to the moment is so keen.. I am always reminded when I meet up with him.. that I need to slow down and take in the moment, I will only get one chance at it.

Today is a day for me to stand back, take a deep breath, allow the moment and the environment to happen, to still the hurry, the bustle and the noise created by others to influence my “quiet’…
Sometimes a picture can tell a story … ever had that empty feeling…. we’ve found this wonderful photographer in the States, who has a wonderful way of taking pictures.. They have graciously given us permission to use some of the “stories” we found in our tour of the M6 site. you will see more from this artist over time.
Lately we have had a lot of “sad” experiences within our community. In some cases, we have had to bid adieu to old friends/family members, other’s in our “family” have had challenges that require a lot of “faith” and “makoto” (sincerity). In PL, our first precept is LIFE IS ART. Every day is a new beginning, a new canvas as I like to say. The picture of the mailboxes reminded me of when mail, (the written greeting) was so important, and how everyday, we watched for the mailperson… Yes there were commercial/business envelopes, flyers and advertisements, but.. that is how we kept in touch with family and friends who didn’t live near, news was always so welcome.
How many of you can remember the pleasure of finding a pretty coloured envelope in the mail. One from a pen pal, or friend/family member dropping in to recount their news. Now so many mailboxes stand empty, new technology has changed how we communicate and share. With the change my personal realization is that “feelings” that came with the written word (missive) are often missing. If the mailbox was a symbol of our heartfelt world… would yours be open, full, half full, barely used, and just possibly often empty.????
Be in tune with the feeling of others. Let’s start by trying to understands other people’s feelings.
