Day 19 of the PL Calendar If you are going to do it, put your whole heart into it
Your degree of seriousness will affect the outcome, Your daily accumulation of effort toward your goal shows just how serious you are.
My latest journal pages reflect the various interest I have in the world of Yin. I search the rows of books, catalogs, comics, artworks for ideas. I never know how a page or series of pages will end up. I let my creative muse direct my energies .. colours and subject matter change with each new day, even from morning till evening hours, my inspirations can and often change.
But whatever I am doing, I do my best to put my whole heart into it. Living the PL way, one lives with Makoto (one’s utmost sincerity)

What?? I don’t know, back in 2015 I saw this photo and was intrigued at what it was, what it meant, where it came from. If I found out, I didn’t record it, so in my files this is what I found, now Feb. 24. 2019
Doing a tidy up, I found a card a group of friends sent me when my husband passed away, “on the loss of your husband” Store bought, from the American Greeting co. in the States, I reread the message.
“They say life goes on just give yourself time to mourn, and accept and to heal, Though none of that offers much comfort right now with the sorrow and loss you must feel… but, there in your heart where you miss him the most where friendship and love never cease, somehow you know that he’d want nothing more than to see you find comfort and peace”
As I digested the words of sympathy my friends had sent me, my eyes fell on today’s PL calendar, for day 24
Things that happen to us all have a meaning

It is with gratitude that I start my day, and appreciation for you my friends who keep in touch, drop in, the distance, the miles, time zones, disappear, when I say I appreciate each and every one of you. Life goes on. Small discoveries. Don’t laugh, I see this product every time I visit the Asian grocery store. When I walk by, always, someone is taking a jar. The other day, I decided to try the smallest jar. It is ridiculously good, Try something new today!!

It is very quiet all around me when there is a deep blanket of snow around every inch of ground that surrounds my home. The emergency vehicles are quiet this morning, the main roads and streets must be decent. Commuters who have deadlines must be either there or almost at their destinations.. The quiet of the moment is refreshing. Yesterday I had a sick day, my body dictated that the end of the lunar year should be one of contemplation and rest. I listened.
Today is a new beginning. In PL, Precept #1 Life is Art, I really and truly believe this, each day is a new canvas, where the possibilities are endless. For you my precious and delightful friends, readers and “family” may the Universe enrich your lives with the delight of new adventure, successful results and endless opportunities for your dreams/ wishes. And, the blessing of wisdom in the knowledge that love is with you, now and always.

Rocking the Blues -My friend Kira loved the Blues, she built a club so all her friends could share in her passion for the blues. DJs from all platforms came to share their tunes, and keep us rocking to the many genres of Blues that are played through-out this Universe of ours. Didn’t matter who you were/are, if you loved the blues, shared in the camaraderie of the Blues Tribe, you were welcome.
I have been away and didn’t know she had taken ill again. A friend wrote me last night, we will have a memorial played out over the week-end so that all of us that loved her can manage to get in. All the DJ’s will have a time slot so that you can share in what Kira loved best.. listen to the blues and share and be with friends.
This woman was a rock for me over the many years she has een in my life. Her generosity and loving spirit will always be with me. Rest in Peace my friend, you were an example to all of us, This is not farewell, it is … till soon
Today, day 2, PL calendar is Live each Day filled with hope. (this was Kira’s mantra and motto)

love/friendships transcend all mortal boundaries.
This precious handmade hamster, makes my heart sing. She puts a smile in my heart just by sitting there smiling back at me.
The last few days have been difficult for me. I have found myself drifting into a state of “low drive and little interest ” When I could I retreated to my bed, the quiet of a darkened room and the desire to sleep. My sleep mates were only too happy to crawl under cover and enjoy time out from the weather that was raging outside.
Today I had to go out, there were errands that needed doing, so after a lazy start to the day, I took myself off to do what needed doing. When I arrived at the church I was surprised with JOY, the adorable Hula Hamster. Oh what a gift. I melted and was totally taken in by her charm.
Loving caring friendships are priceless. JOY lifted me out of the shadows , back into the sunshine. Olinda weaved a magic spell, I am blown away. Thank you. I am reminded that in life, in a split second, the sun can break through the clouds, and all is right again.
I am so blessed. The Universe always comes through for me, when I allow myself to stumble, my friends are there reminding me, that LOVE, is always with me. God is Love, Love is GOD and we are all ONE
