In PL, we are taught that with God’s blessing, you will be able to freely express yourself using these materials. By leading a cheerful, joyful and beautiful life according to the PL teachings, you will learn to work for the happiness of others as well as yourself.”

Members today in these complex and troubled times.there is no simple answer to the question, “What is Happiness” Begin each day, with an open heart, and a positive outlook, YOU are “the artist” our first Precept is LIFE IS ART. create meaningful expressions at work and at home

Due to the current situation, there will be no Thanksgiving service tomorrow, we ask that you take time in your day to pray at home to offer your humble appreciation God, for all the blessings of the past month and sincerely ask to be guided and protected by the Grace of Oyashikiri in the coming month.

Although there is no official services for the next couple of weeks, we are open if you wish to come by for personal prayer.

You are all in our hearts and prayers, if you have a home alter, please pray at 7 pm. on the 21st.

Friday 13th

Sometimes the mind travels through space. Stopping in places you had forgotten you knew. Nothing unpleasant, just moments of fog being replaced with brilliant blue skies. Took one of my “free” drives today, no place special, no where to be, just the need to drive. Picked up a willing co-pilot, and off we went.

Driving towards the Quebec border, on a secondary highway, it was pouring rain, overcast skies, with only periods of lighter rain, When the rain slowed down, the sky would get somewhat brighter and the wet bark of the trees could be seen glistening, giving us sculptures reaching for the heavens.

Just past Hawksbury, we turned the car around and headed west, back towards the city. Suddenly the rain stopped, and the skies began to clear. The transformation was startling vivid. Baby blue skies, fluffy white clouds, it became a totally different day.

2 days in one. Interesting. The winds picked up.. it seems that I got home before the mega winds. I can hear them now.. hard and violent against the house.

It was a range of weather today… like emotions, the weather can be calm, restless, volatile, warm and welcoming, or like today… a roller coaster of some of everything.

When you think “I’ve got it,” Think again. It is so easy to misinterpret the situation and jump to conclusions. Always have a humble attitude and double check to make sure.

wednesday madness

“oh” said the hatter,” does it really matter” “of course it matters” can you not hear the constant chatter?”

mushrooms and glow worms beckon the hatter -“you are a nutter, your head is filled with butter..’ “it’s Wednesday” said the hatter “come let’s gather” so saying he slid on petal and fell with a clatter,

nothing is sadder than a hatter who has fallen into the batter making noises with such loud chatter that sent everyone scurrying .. muttering ” its Wednesday make it matter, make it matter, or the hatter will be back, madder with his natter and we won’t have a moment of silence.. Make Wednesdays matter!”

Inspiration Park

I needed a change. I’d been listening to “Rocking Country” “Blues” this is always good background music for me when I’m “working”..For some reason, I decided to look up what events were on at that moment. There was a live concert, of native flute, and drum, totally different.

From right to left. I looked up events. Found that the show had just started, fixed my hair and taxied over. It was so totally different from the foot stomping music I’d been listening to, I wasn’t sure I’d stay. The performer, was explaining that he had made several of the different flutes he would be playing, It was not electric, it was acoustic, it was pure and simple. Within a very short time, (picture on the left) I was zoning out, really chilling.

Sometimes it is easier to do what we are used to. BUT, when we step outside the box, our perceptions, our senses reawaken, I drifted, let the music come and go, let the moment happen, and the tired weary part of my physical self, sighed and ahhhhh I really really relaxed. when I got to bed, I SLEPT.
