Turtle rescue – one of the regular hikers .. found a turtle on the paved road.. it was very dry and far from water. He picked it up and carried it to a body of water.. (2 km. further down the road)

silly me, really, silly me
a funny face is what I saw
those eyes and silly smile
made me lips twitch into a wicked grin
I felt the sparkle in my eyes.
and right away I knew
a page had turned
a new chapter has begun
even the story line has changed
yet in truth, the goal is the same
Nature has been making a gradual change
I can smell the changes in the air
hear it in the chatter of the birds
and the nattering of the squirrels and chipmunks
for sure, with each passing day
this current season is in its final run
the anticipation of what is to come

I prayed, I reached out, the Universe provided. the power of prayer is amazing.
This tree in the woodlands on a trail I frequent, stands tall .. towering over the other trees, I can always see it in the distance as I make my way on the trail. I was struck with how it just seems to float in the sky, I’ve taken a picture of it almost every time I am there. This obviously means I have lots of pictures of it against the sky, yet I never seem to share this view when I sit down to visit with you.
Face each moment, each place with a fresh outlook. If you handle a situation with preconceived notions or prejudices, your judgement will be clouded. Take on each situation with a blank slate, as if seeing it for the first time.

What happens when the Sr. minister of an establishment makes the personal choice not to be vaccinated? 98% of the members/community are vaccinated. Sad that the “world” these days is so divided.
Listen carefully and speak clearly. A good relationship starts from truly understand each other.

I had wonderful “ladies day” outing, we had lunch at a cafe/restaurant on the canal, ate out by the water. I didn’t intend for it to happen but I have a golden glow that wasn’t there earlier. The sun was out, there was a breeze, company was exceptional, food was good.. hey.. Life is Good!
Such is true in life also. When faced with a problem that seems to be a constant sadness and weighs heavy on your heart… what do you do. I pray. I pray for guidance that my actions will be the right ones..
Let’s respond clearly. giving a proper response shows consideration towards others.
