quiet moment

it was quiet………….. too quiet…………… in the stillness, I could actually feel that time stood still.. it was brief, maybe a second or two… just enough for me to catch a glimpse of the thought that had been stilled.

the early morning light is getting stronger ……….. I spy the bike and wonder how long its been there ………….. was it just forgotten………. will its rider return some day ………… or is this just another way …………. of leaving a thought unspoken ……………

We do that in life, we start a sentence…………… and then ……for what-ever reason…………. we leave the thought unfinished. More often than not, we don’t even recognize or are aware that we left a “thought/moment” unfinished.

In the quiet………..new ideas germinate ……….. if we interact proactively with the every changing “world” around us ……….. it is good to live with a flexible mind… today’s mantra… “go with the flow”……………… let the quiet moment…….. spawn new growth ……….to enhance your NOW.

Good or Bad, it is your mirror…. sincere expressions invite good results, but insincere expressions can lead to unexpected trouble.

Friday 21st.

Here we are, another Friday, today tho’ is not just another Friday it is the 21st. for PL members this is the day we attend church for a special Thanksgiving day service. Reminder this evening 7 pm. Eastern Daylight Time.

Your feelings of appreciation become real when you express them. Express your feelings of appreciation by actually saying, “Thank you” out loud or by doing something to show how you feel. Not only will the person you are thanking feel good, but you will too, leading to better things in the future.

In life, the changes we live don’t always show up, like it did in the above pictures. (of my avatar China) But the happenings around us, can impact us, emotionally, and mentally in ways that do leave us with a profound sense of change, and we are left to struggle and relearn to find our “balance”

I used China as an example today, because, it took months, weeks and days, for me to realize that visually she needed a make-over. Then it took hours and hours of trials and redos.. for me to get this far. I have to give a huge shout out to Truth Wizardly who when I asked for help in the chat group came to my rescue. (Truth is a blogger for various designers in SL Glam affaire and Lelutka being two of them)(see him Flickr)

When we make a change in our lives or have one thrust on us, the adjustments take time, and they require patience. In the case of upgrading my avatar, like buying a new car, everything is new and technology has moved on from what you had previously. there is a learning curve.

If we live with appreciation in our hearts, and accept that some of our “realities” will incur deep emotion and require “letting go” With acceptance, and the desire to move on.. We will grow with the changes in our lives… to become even more of the “person” we hope/strive to be.

Ian’s picture is pure “magic” … thank you Ian!

a meditation in green

I started out for one place, was in the wrong lane, ended up in a totally different direction, and smack dab to the entrance (parking lot) for the Larose Forest.

Was I dressed for a hike through the forest trails, no. Being the trouper I am, I decided to hike down one of the trails to get some pictures. Hot, was it hot… yes, but walking along under the canopy of the trees, there was a breeze.

My day was planned out for me by a higher being. I would not have started out to visit the Larose Forest on a day when temperatures were going to give us a scorching heat, with a high humidity factor thrown in. But I end the day with gratitude in my heart. I had a lovely day, it was a productive day, the myriads of greens, and earthy tones, was a palette that not only pleased the eye, but soothed a weary “soul”

Live in the moment. Whether you are walking, having a conversation, or having a good time, it is important to be fully engaged. Remember to live in the “now”

Thursday doors.

small country road, Ontario

We find doors everywhere, some are grand entrances, others are solid and welcoming, while others, serve a purpose or did, and stand ready for when they are needed again.

When you think, “I’ve got it” think again. It is so easy to misinterpret the situation and jump to conclusions. always have a humble attitude and double check to make sure.

8-10 Monday

The everyday things you do will show when it really counts. If you have a tendency to be careless about everyday matters, you cannot expect to perform well at crucial times.

Enjoy the moment while you wait. Things come about when they are meant to happen. Think of what you can do for the time being, and don’t rush the outcome.

fishing anyone

a lazy drift along the shoreline?

Do everything with a prayerful mind. even if you have done your best, there are times when you wonder if it enough. that is when your prayers become most important.

Perfect Liberty 2015.26

Even in our toughest moments, there is a part of us, that yearns to grow into the calm that we see around us. With faith as resilient and determined as dandelions pushing through cracks in the roads and pavements.. one moment becomes another….we let go and move on.

Search out your calm today… then.. pause… enjoy and re energize

Good morning everyone! Another day of clear blue skies, white clouds and whoopeee.. less humidity. It is a gorgeous day, and its only beginning. Yippee Kiii Aye…..

With the rain we had, the vegetation out back grew like crazy. Yesterday I donned rubber gloves and braved the overgrown vines. Pulled, ripped and yanked.. then I swept, up the dead seed pods and pulled and yanked some more. Have to admit.. I didn’t groan, moan or grumble. (feeling a bit smug actually hummed)

Are you wondering how I felt later in the day…. YES I felt a tad worn and ready to chill. No guilt when I sat down to watch a taped Agatha Raisin.

Always applaud others. When you can be genuinely happy for others, you yourself will be blessed and you can experience a deeper sense of happiness.

You can become more attentive with prayer. Live your life with a prayerful mind so that you can be more attentive and make the people around you that much happier.

LIFE IS ART

Perfect Liberty Precept #1

EVERYTHING EXISTS IN RELATIVITY

perfect Liberty Precept #7

In life we live each moment of our days, doing, thinking, taking action, eating, sleeping, whatever, there is usually an activity involved. the results of our days, some are productive, some less so, but…. the reality is.. for every “action” there is a “reaction”.

When we take a picture, we capture that moment in time. To the photographer, he/she saw and did so much before he/she took that picture. We see only the results .. what was captured in that moment when the picture was taken.

Mixed media is another re-enactment of sorts. the artists starts with an idea or inspiration, then pulls, tears, shreds, paints, pastes, stamps, whatever to accomplish an end result. In my case, instead of a photo, I call it a “doodle”. (dictionary -verb- to scribble absentmindedly etc.)

Will you “doodle” today, or dawdle…. LOL whatever you do, have a grand time doing it. and… SMILE!!

Your smile energizes the people around you. A smile has the ability to put others at ease and give them energy. Strive to be the first to offer a smile each day to those around you.
