PL Calendar day 31 Don’t hesitate to show kindness to others
Do you ever find yourself hesitating to show kindness to someone? It is when you put your thoughts into action that you can show others what is in your heart.

Fishing, although I don’t fish, is something I think would be a quiet, comtemplative type of activity. I have seen pictures of people kayaking along shorelines, alone, silently cutting through the water, seeing the lake, river, from a totally different angle. If fishing, is there really a need to catch or “hook up” with a fish, or is it the very activity itself.
My son an avid kayaker, loves to fish. Not to bring the outdoors home, but to communicate with nature in his comfort zone. The water is still cold, we have not had any seasonally warm temperatures..yet already he has been in swimming.

IF I had a bucket list, a lazy drift in a kayak would be in the top twenty. =^_^=
PL Calendar day 15 Live with firm determination, thinking that “this will turn out for the best”
Everything in this world progresses and develops. Always be positive, knowing that everything will turn out for the best.

PS I don’t swim (son’s kayaks)

My mind still talks to you
my heart still looks for you
My soul knows you are at peace
I thank God for having had you
but I still miss you so much!
My niece knew yesterday that I was in having a difficult time… she sent me this quote she found on all-great quotes.com. I saw it only this morning. and yes, the above is all so true.

PL calendar day 11 – Remember to be thankful and humble. Appreciate the Makoto (sincerity) of the people who came before you.
But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love. Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls Khalil Gibran

Day 8 of the PL calendar
First accept Everything
Life is filled with moments, sometimes happy and at times inconvenient. It is important to first accept every situation as it occurs and try to accept and understand it for what it is.
Bom dia!! Greetings on another bright sunny morning. Mid week already, where doe the time go.

It was fantastic day yesterday to travel the roads, the trees along the highway are starting to bud, I could feel the anticipation in every direction. The water levels were still very high as we approached the West Island (heading into Montreal). We observed that the water was still half way up the trees that would usually be above the water line on dry land.
Please take time to remember that tho’ the weather is currently dry, there are thousands who have suffered severe water damage over the last weeks, and need our prayers. Not just a few, but many people have lost year of memories and accumulated treasures, and are finding themselves in a place of sadness with weeks and months of rebuilding and hard work just to regain a sense of “normal”

Good Morning, Bom dia!
The day is young and really not decided on what it is going to do. The forecast says rain and lots of it. In our area, there has been a lot of flooding already, this newest bit of rain could be a real disaster for many at risk communities. My prayers go out to all of you at this time.
Across the river on the Quebec side, the military has been brought in to help with the filling of sandbags and volunteers from all around are coming around donating their time. It is in such times that we see how community pulls together despite any differences at other times. Oyashikiri.
What you see above is my trying out a new product, seeing what it can do with a variety of molds or embossing/texture plates. The product used (coloured) is by Finnabair, called Icing paste (Prima marketing), It is through trial and error that I will find how it will work with my particular style of “working”. The challenge and opportunity of discovery. I love it.
PL calendar day 26 Put your whole heart into whatever you do, no matter when or where you are.
Don’t try to cut corners or be careless about things. Be fully responsible, completing whatever you set out to do.

April 24, a date to remember, it was my husband’s birthday.
A day that celebrated his life. Now it is a reminder that I am a “widow” In May it will be a year since he passed away. His last birthday was one he so bravely wanted to celebrate. His courage and determination saw him make that date and live to say he had achieved his goal. He had his 70th. at home we toasted his achievements and his life, knowing there would be no more.
Over his years of being successful at his chosen vocation – broadcasting, and the written media, he thrived at being a reporter of his many journeys and many observations as he travelled the world in search of stories, and new experiences. He never tired of sharing with others his enjoyment of the many interests he had acquired through his travels and his career. History, geography, world affairs he could converse and debate at large.
PL calendar day 24
Things that happen to us all have a meaning.
Everything that happens to us happens for a reason. Each and every occurrence is a chance for you to improve yourself.
We married late in life, he was determined that his wife would be alright when and if he was not around. That meant, he wanted me to have and maintain an independence that would serve me in good stead should he not be around. He was so kind, considerate and caring, that I can say in all sincerity, he completed my life in a way that was so loving and dedicated to our togetherness that even though physically he is not here, he will always be MY husband, MY one and only … You were and are a blessing Brian, you are celebrated every day. Konnichiwa – bom dia!!
What goes around, comes around.... over the years, at one time or another, we have heard this little phrase .. usually it is said and then forgotten. The Universe is infinite, we never know when, or where, but the time will come when there is “pay back”
PL calendar day 17
Have clear goals and take appropriate actions.
Always begin with a clear idea of what your goals are. Once you have pinpointed the target for your actions, things will move forward much more smoothly.
With the nicer weather, more and more people are spending time outdoors getting reacquainted with the local parks and trails. Doing inventory in the garden, what is preparing to reappear, what has been lost or not doing so well. Each day truly is a new beginning.

Happy start to another day! It is Thursday, the week has flown by. Already we are celebrating the 11th of the month. Ancestors Day.
PL calendar day 11
Appreciate the Makoto (sincerity) of the people who came before you. Everything we have today was built upon the hard work of our ancestors and the people who came before us. Always remember to be thankful and humble and continue to build on their past successes.

“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending”. Mary Robinson.
Nothing can take the place of good friends, they make you smile, save your bxtt when you think there is no end in sight and give comfort just in being who they are. I feel humbled to have such amazing friends.
When we pray for our ancestors and the people in our lives who contribute in our daily living, genuinely infuse each moment, with gratitude, giving thanks with all the makoto you can muster.

Bom dia, What a day it has been. Problems with my e-mail have been giving me problems for the last couple of days. After three attempts with the provider to determine why the e-mail was not coming in. and 48 hours later, they try to sell me a plan ( until then it had never been mentioned). It would only cost me six dollars a month, and they would watch over my PC and mail (they are the provider) Needless to say I was not a willing player of that game. When I asked to speak to a Supervisor I was told, there was no Supervisor, they were in a meeting. A Manager then, no sorry no Manager, Seems manager and supervisor were one and the same.

My day started with my leaving home without my phone. Then discovering, that I couldn’t find my phone at all. Since I was/ am waiting for the insurance people to get back to me about the car, let us just say, it wasn’t a banner start to the day.

3 – 4 – shut the door
It is almost 8, I can close off and shut down, call it day. Tomorrow is another day. I am sorry I missed getting on earlier today, I hope you all had a very productive day
Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
Any one know the rest of this little ditty.
5 – 6 Pick up ??
It is all good, my son called concerned about my phone, that was a big “happy” for me. and Leon my bbf (wonderful caring dog) was happy to see me, content to snuggle and cozy up. What more can a gal ask for. =^_^=
Always count your blessings come end of day. (yes phone found)
