LOL.. no getting away from you is there. You are all so super fantastic.. No way you gonna let me forget it is my birthday. I wasn’t running away from it, really I wasn’t. I woke up and found that I’d lots of visits overnight. It was actually really pleasant to wake up and see that so many of you had dropped in.
So many of you have traveled through the years with me, always there with your smiles and friendships. How many times have I hollered out.. HELP I’m stuck… it could be late in the night for you, and mid afternoon for me.. Always, if you are around, help is to be had. I am so truly blessed.
The colours of fall have started to appear as you see in one of the pictures. Friends, are blessings I believe that. Even tho’ with the technology today (internet) we are able to reach out almost anytime… We don’t always get the chance, or think to do it, our day to day passes by on us too quickly.
Like the seasons, I am changing, my life takes new directions, doors open that I wasn’t expecting, opportunities that I hadn’t expected, drop in, and like nature, I accept and find creative ways to deal with the landscapes before me.
Always precious friends, I know that along the shorelines of my life, a friend is there. Thank you .. thank you, thank you…. each one of you helps me, live a life that is more complete, because you share this world with me.
Another year to mark off on the calendar… sigh… means I’m wiser, yes!

I sit high when driving, we have a truck. I as struck by the vegetation and rooftops as I travelled how 43, going east.
It was a beautiful day as you can see. The miles slipped silently by as I rode along taking in the views. It was a “me” day. A day to allow my thoughts to come and go, my only objective to watch the road, and take in the beauty around me.
Farmland as far as the eye could see. Small villages, and towns, expanse of fields waiting for harvest. Rural Ontario. (250km) Lots of time to entertain my thoughts.
PL Precept # 15 All is a Mirror – I sought tranquility and peaceful surrounding. The Universe granted my wish. I enjoyed conversation and friendship along the way, then back in the truck as I continued on my way………….. the steady hum of the tires and visual delights as Nature provided the beginning colours of her fall palette.
Just before the final stretch, I stopped for fresh produce and discovered a new fruit. Ground cherries. physalis longifolia
Enjoy each new day, give thanks for the opportunities that come your way. Life is good.
A day spent with and in Nature, alone, in meditation and quiet
is a special day indeed!

Whenever you need a smile, you can always count on someone to pop up and say – Hey!
Hi! I’m thinking of you… Makes me smile every time.
Everyone gets busy in their own day-to-day living. When someone takes the time to drop in and say hello… appreciate the moment… this is one way the electronic world has changed over the years.. Where before we waited by the mailbox for word from a friend, now… with the internet, a few clicks and the smile is on its way.
This little guy I’ve been dragging around with me for years, I mean YEARS. He was on some magazine cover that someone had thrown out. I rescued him, every so often he pops up, I find him amongst papers, or stacks of magazines.. we share the familiar (by now) hello… and…. puff…. he’s gone till next time.
We need to tidy up and clean house in the fall, I prepare for nesting come the days when it is so cold outside.. we know we will be enjoying it from inside. For all the crafters and collectors out there, check your stash. Time to stock up.

Happy Thursday morning all.
I went to take a picture yesterday of a door. That was my intention, unfortunately, I drove by, missed the laneway, and could not get back. It was rush hour in Ottawa, and for some reason, where usually traffic flowing west on this road, is usually pretty good at this time of day, yesterday it wasn’t. Missed opportunity. I will go back another time.
Last night, looking for something else, look what I found. No, no way it is a door, but gall darn, could I figure out what it was. I know it is familiar. but it just wouldn’t come to me. Certainly I was intrigued.
This morning with a new day on the horizon, I had a “bingo” moment.
Here is a second picture the elf in my camera took.
How I managed this, I’ll have to ponder on a bit longer. Does anyone out there, recognized what this is?
Life is full of surprises. We need only take out our phones sometimes, to discover a whole new world. For sure we meet new friends =^_^= My Chinese name, associates me with the moon, I believe that a “moon spirit” has drifted into my virtual world……

Our thanks to you all for your prayers, and healing thoughts, my husband begins his “treatments” next week, starting on Monday. 23 days of radiation and 5 weeks of chemo. We appreciate each and everyone of you!

Magical
Futuristic, a playground for my “Me” time. I’ve gone back to the gym. My favourite place, my get away Movati Athletic … It was time, I’ve been back a couple of days now, and it is wonderful. Staff have changed, the older carpet has been replaced, still the magic of the place is intact.
Having started with them back in the late 90’s when they opened, it was where I wanted to be. I went up to the co-ed floor today, a must for me, it means walking up the flight of stairs, there is an elevator, but the whole idea is for me to start rebuilding my whole over-all “body”.
My fit bit was very happy, I finally met and exceeded my goal that I had set for myself. =^_^= sparkles went off when I looked at my figures.. Yay!!!!
On my way home from errands, I went into on of my “haunts” and woweeeee I found a Madame Alexander Doll (2014) She was not in the best shape, her hair was a total mess, and all frizzy. Her body was scuffed and marked, but…. never having had one to check out up close and personal, I brought her home. She has been bathed and washed, and her hair cleaned, but it will be awhile before I get all the knots and frizz under control, IF it can be done.

Icing on the cake… I got home to find a big happy balloon tied to a floral dish garden. Thoughtful friends in Australia, reached across the globe, with their love and healing prayers. Muah darlings, I will write soon.
My husband and I have been overwhelmed with the love and friendship that has been coming our way. This is a journey that is truly blessed in many many ways. We our humbled by the love that has transcended the distance of geography and time. Thank you for letting us know, we are not alone.

Usually Velcro will nestle down into his blankets for his night-time sleep. This is our boy now that he wants to make sure his “Mom” is OK. He positions himself where he can make sure I’m alright, and if I move or get up.. he’s watching and listening. We both miss our Canaille.
This beautiful gal is one of the whippets we visited the other day. Look how amazing her colouring is. Her top coat a soft fawn, with a delightful pattern of dots showing through. There is something very humbling about how a dog will engage in an interaction with a human. She is standing here with her trainer, happy to share the limelight with him. Unconditional love.
It wasn’t till we adopted Velcro that we discovered the world of whippets and sight hounds.
When we open our hearts and lives to new possibilities, it is always amazing to discover that there is love all around.

Why?
I tried, I wanted to
I even brought my pens with me, I planned it all, the lined pages,
pristine white, blank pages,
for days I even practiced the different styles of lettering
anticipation high, time to doodle and write.
Yet when I got to where we were going,
Not once, did I use the pens to practice my lettering
The pads of blank pages, came home empty.
Why?
It is the journey, the living each day that is important, obviously, while away my time was filled with happy moments, new discoveries, a sense of adventure and of course, the cherished company of a wonderful husband and our two frisky “canine children”

When we live in the NOW, there are no regrets.
