Thursday doors

Bom dia a todos! Happy Thursday 27th.

I was very glad to hear that this farm and the house that I on the land has been given heritage standing, Developers cannot tear it down. This parcel of land, will be a loss of green space, but the buildings will stay.

This was all farm land. I may not speak about these changes, but I am aware of them. Progress will happen. I give special thanks here to the people in the community that fought as long a they have to slow the progress in order to preserve the buildings. It is important that future generations remember what was.

So many industrial parks have vacant, concrete lots, older buildings that new companies don’t want, and no one want to undertake reusing that space. Concrete wastelands. Sad, very sad. Meanwhile rich fertile soil gets sacrificed to yet another shopping centre or ……… ……..

This will be a happy productive day. Mild weather here. Sun is out. Let’s get out and seize the day.

Bom dia, Sabado…Saturday after a big storm. I woke to skies of blue, and clear as far as the eye can see. NO, not to Brazil, but wanted to share with you a birthday card I did for a friend. My interpretation of a birthday card, comes in many dimensions and depending on where it is headed, can be almost anything.

I learned at an early age, not to limit my imagination and creativity. Admittedly sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I do my best. Key words, do my best. In all we do, it is important that we do our best. Be in the moment, as long as we do our best, we will have no regrets. It applies to all we do and say.

We all encounter storms during our stay in this world, some emotional, some physical, whatever happens, we live through it and move on. Sometimes it is easy and sometimes it is not. Whatever, and wherever you are today, you are here, you are living another day. Do it well.

Whooooo is getting ready for the witching month.

Whooooo has gathered her friends to discuss the possibilities

Me, that’s whoooooo!

The possibilities are endless of course, and I have changed my mind 1000 times at least. Think about it, isn’t one of the joys in life, anticipation. When we were children the excitement of special holidays, or time away from routine was always so exciting. Some included gifts, others trips, time for getting together with friends, and just plain old. play time.

As an adult, yes, now I can really say I am an adult…LOL no questions asked… for sure I am seen by many as something very different from how I see myself. That is something we call come face to face with. Life has it is seen by the different generations.

However .. the fall is the time of year where my creative juices really get charged. I know I am not alone, just visit any shop in any town, city or hollow, and you will see a different palette than the one earlier in the year. Colours are vibrant with jewel tones, the air is crisp, the apples crackle, pumpkins spill out everywhere.

If you haven’t had the small pie pumpkin as a veggie,you are missing a treat.

Today being the 21st. of the month, in PL, we are celebrating Thanksgiving, where we pay special attention, to giving thanks for our blessings of the past weeks, and pray for the continued blessings of the Universe. Recognizing that we, and we alone are responsisble for our actions. Love/peace begins in our hearts.

Being happy within ourSelves makes for a much more fulfilling life, don’t just exist, have the passion to BE. Share a smile!

good morning, bom dia, buen dia The moment you notice is the best timing

I am the little yellow flower in the picture above. I was out being spoiled with another special outing. One of my dearest friends had arranged with me weeks ago, for us to celebrate yesterday. Celebrate we did. It was a full day of shopping and exploring, ending with a fabulous dinner at the Mandarin, (Asian buffet)

Yesterday, Eartha drove, she was my hostess with the mostess. Then last night as I lay basking in the events of the day, I imagined this picture, and my being the yellow flower, surrounded by people, events with the world going on all around me. I had a feeling that I had missed something, and it nagged me. So much so that this morning, I sat down to meditate on “it”

The rest of todays calendar message says… Procrastinating will only weigh you down. The best time to do something is when you notice it. You will feel lighter both physically and spiritually.

Whatever is niggling at me, took place yesterday, obviously I was too surrounded by outside energies and activities. It was a special day, and thanks to Eartha sneaking in a surprise on me, I have a memento of our time, that I am able to put on the fridge (a picture of us that the Mandarin presents to us in the form of a magnet) A cherished souvenir!

Sometimes in life, we are so busy living, we miss something else, that moment is gone, so begin TODAY with Makoto (sincerity and focus).

Chop Suey Tuesday 18th

First I want to thank you all or your birthday wishes. I was away for a birthday outing yesterday, when I came back I was overwhelmed by all the messages and good wishes. Wow, it is going to be super awesome year, I have been jet propelled into a new year. I am truly blessed, I say thank you each and every day!

While some look for pristine, blank pages, I work at making mine look old, and sometimes, like here, I strive to make rust, and dirty a page, this is my playtime. Yesterday was spent visiting places in west of downtown Montreal, looking for paint, inks, and any and all other artistic, creative tools, to be found, It was an all day event that I got to share with two like-minded friends, needless to say, it was a lot of fun.

Every person is unique, we each and every one of us, expresses ourselves in our own way. What rocks one person, can be a total turn off to the other, yet when we are on a search and find mission, the enthusiasm of the other person’s excitement when they have found something that has fired up their enthusiasm for their craft, that is catching. It is smiles all around.

In our travels as we headed back towards Ottawa, I found Catnip who I knew would be perfect for my October Fright journal.

Sharing happiness with friends is a blessing. What better way to share a birthday celebration, Catnip will always remind me that my 2018 birthday was not only great. It lasted for days, Today I am off on another adventure.

Good Sunday morning dear friends.

Day 15 – PL Calendar – Being attentive makes life more enjoyable.

Live life paying careful attention to every detail be it big or small. By doing so, you will be able to experience the subtle joy in things.

That said, I began the world with a visit to a long ago time, in a galaxy far far away. I now know what an ewok is. Cute little fellows, and very good warriors. The little story I read had them fighting biker scouts. Have to admit that I found that the biker scouts were interesting. Best of all I liked a character called Chewie. If you are a Star Wars fans you by now realize that this is a brand new world for me.

Golly Gee Mollie, where have I been =^_^= Goes to show we are never too old to learn about new galaxies, and the worlds that live in or on them.

I learned that there is a forest moon. How cool is that! The Ewok is small, furry and lives in the forest. Sigh every day is so exciting when you can learn about such amazing new characters ..there is such an incrediable amount of talent out there, I can’t wait to make new discoveries.

What about you, have you taken on anything new? Do you think about new ways to do things that you have being doing in a routine fashion? One of my upcoming challenges will be to do a character doll for the month of October, Doll Club meeting.

Challenge yourself, You have so much unused creativity, step outside your comfort zone, live life to the fullest. Can’t wait to read or hear about your adventures.

Once you’ve prepared everything to the best of your ability seize any opportunity that comes your way, take action without hesitation. Express yourself to the fullest.

The world is not only full of colour, but provides us with an abundance of textures, variation on shades and so much more, Yes there is beauty in a flower, but the subtle shading of the vegetation that often is the back drop for a flower(s), is more lasting, and enduring. Changing with the season we can never be bored. We need to see beyond transient beauty. The icing though good, and often very pretty, would be nothing without the cake. It exists because of the cake.

an early birthday surprise….

Many years ago, I would not have known who Neymar Jr was, nor would I have wanted a futbol shirt. See how time changes us. Time and the various experiences we live shape our development. A stint in a Spanish country, a visit to the French seaside, life is full of possibilities. Each step we take outside our comfort zone, makes us stronger.

Tomorrow the 11th. in PL we will be celebrating Ancestors day. In some countries it is already tomorrow. For my many friends on the same time-table as myself, wake to a new day, and be thankful for who you are today.

Show your appreciation by giving back to the world around you.
