Greetings on Sunday

fright drucilla May the day shine brightly for you. Sunday and we are not having a service this morning, because of the service last evening. What does one do on a Sunday morning, when there is no service. I to Drucilla’s displeasure, decided to play with my paint and other supplies to start on a makeover for her. I have told her that this is therapeutic for both of us, but her silence tells me, …. it is all in my head.

Tomorrow begins another month. October. The leaves have started to change, when driving the back roads yesterday, I saw more sights of reds peaking through the evergreens. Actually not only the various shades of red, but the yellow orange hue were also taking over the fresh greens of the summer. The camera buffs who have been slumbering through the sweltering summer, will be polishing off their lenses to take full advantage of the fall display that will soon be in full bloom. I confess, I love, LOVE the autumn season, here in Canada where we get four different seasons, the fall months tantalize and delight me.

With that in mind I will be on the watch this morning, for “something” to catch my “eye” while I am out driving along the river, into rural Ontario. Some time, when you are inclined to do so, you must tell me how you mange to drive and “catch” that perfect moment, when there is other traffic on the road… =^_^=

If I could make this lesson, flash with neon lights, I would do so, I think the mice are back, or trying to come back in As you know, it took a long time to rid this house of the little “devils”…. So! mon ami, it looks like we will again, take on the capturing of mice.

I have spent my evenings with Poirot (Agatha Christie} audio books, so delightful!

skull floral 2 Bom dia, Happy Friday dear my dears

Whooooo is getting ready for the witching month.

Whooooo has gathered her friends to discuss the possibilities

Me, that’s whoooooo!

The possibilities are endless of course, and I have changed my mind 1000 times at least. Think about it, isn’t one of the joys in life, anticipation. When we were children the excitement of special holidays, or time away from routine was always so exciting. Some included gifts, others trips, time for getting together with friends, and just plain old. play time.

As an adult, yes, now I can really say I am an adult…LOL no questions asked… for sure I am seen by many as something very different from how I see myself. That is something we call come face to face with. Life has it is seen by the different generations.

However .. the fall is the time of year where my creative juices really get charged. I know I am not alone, just visit any shop in any town, city or hollow, and you will see a different palette than the one earlier in the year. Colours are vibrant with jewel tones, the air is crisp, the apples crackle, pumpkins spill out everywhere.

If you haven’t had the small pie pumpkin as a veggie,you are missing a treat.

Today being the 21st. of the month, in PL, we are celebrating Thanksgiving, where we pay special attention, to giving thanks for our blessings of the past weeks, and pray for the continued blessings of the Universe. Recognizing that we, and we alone are responsisble for our actions. Love/peace begins in our hearts.

Being happy within ourSelves makes for a much more fulfilling life, don’t just exist, have the passion to BE. Share a smile!

an early birthday surprise….

Many years ago, I would not have known who Neymar Jr was, nor would I have wanted a futbol shirt. See how time changes us. Time and the various experiences we live shape our development. A stint in a Spanish country, a visit to the French seaside, life is full of possibilities. Each step we take outside our comfort zone, makes us stronger.

Tomorrow the 11th. in PL we will be celebrating Ancestors day. In some countries it is already tomorrow. For my many friends on the same time-table as myself, wake to a new day, and be thankful for who you are today.

Show your appreciation by giving back to the world around you.

Once more I saw the open doorway, showing me the path to the other side, this time I dared to wander closer.

There was a silence in the air, yet, there was a breeze and the bird (on the right) made a soft cooing sound as he flew by. His bright feathers so fitting against the blue skies

As I walked my feet made no sound, yet the grass beneath my feet was soft and lush.

The pathway was inviting, I gladly let it lead the way.

Around each corner a new discovery. Can you imagine my delight.

I felt rather than saw the light that seemed to guide me along through the growth that surrounded me on all side. I knew no fear, I felt content and aware of the life around me.

There was much to see and take in. Such creativity, such vision.

When I entered a great hall, I felt small, I was one of many to stand within the walls, I stood alone at that moment in time, yet in my heart I knew, I was not alone. I was surrounded by each and every one of you. See you are here now. . Just not at the moment I was there. (smiles and winks)

There is much to see, enjoy, learn, and share as we grow as human beings and wandering souls. Don’t be afraid to share and love the ALL that you are. Dreams are part of our reality. Whether you believe, or not.

cukes 4

you are right’

there is not a blueberry in sight

the cukes are fine

certainly not the same

is a nickel a dime?

oh gosh and darn

maybe a tomato, cucumber sandwich will do

nope, the thought does not appeal

Only blueberries will calm

so sound the alarm

I will be up at dawn

for that sweet, tantalizing taste

of fresh blueberries sold by the case

there are no blueberries, there is nothing to do, but wait.

tomorrow will be another day. tomorrow will come and I will no longer want blueberries.. maybe? What do you think?

avatars that were in a virtual world. why. to be there to respond to needs of the community that expressed interest in learning more about living the PL way. I have come to realize that there are not that many places one can go, where it is drama/stress free.

Unfortunately these young men were assigned back to Japan the dream of exploring a new frontier went with them.

Unable at the time to get in to explore, and get to know more of the creative spirits inworld, I had to bench my idea of expanding the church philosophy via a venue that spans world wide.

The world is now full of gamers, I doubt I could count all the platforms. Hours are spent each day on one platform or another, whether in war games, sci fi, or social media. I noted on the telly the other day that there is even a series that is a take off on the alternate realities.(worlds) Many people are deciding that they prefer the virtual worlds, where they can select and change their worlds including meeting more people who share in their “vision” of what living in a world should be like.

Technology allows us to do a lot of things we couldn’t do in years gone by, however, what remains constant is “change” in the world we live in and the ones we gravitate towards.

We are never dissociate ourselves from the ONENESS of the UNIVERSE from that we cannot hide or escape Where ever you go, in any dimension, you will always be you. We cannot escape our “selves” we can’t even hide.. we can try to avoid or ignore, but always what IS will BE

Forever is today.

What ever you do, where ever you are. BE present. There will always be opportunities to explore, be yourself, in whatever “role” you play or take on for that day.

The young ministers have been given different assignments, both are now married and in totally new environments, yet they will always be themselves, all past experiences will be part and parcel of the men they are today,

When we live with pure intentions, there are not regrets the lessons we learn bring wisdom in following years.

staying connected

you have heard the expression ‘pretty as a picture’ this sure appealed to me, when I saw it on our Japanese calendar I took a photo and used it for one of my blogs

That was a while ago, and today if you ask me what it says…. I have no idea… I would have at the time because someone would have translated it for me.

Yesterday, during service, while everyone was taking in the moment, I felt a ~current of change~ while I still was aware of all that was going on and being said, a part of me-disassociated. I don’t know how else to describe it. It was much like revisiting the above picture, knowing it, knowing I liked the sentiment, but what it was escaping saying me.

Usually I would have shared this with members, but for some unknown reason (to me) then, and still now, I fell silent. That silence stayed with me for over an hour. I interacted yes, but that niggling feeling remained, disappearing only after I got home.

It like being connected and being disconnected at the same time.
