With us all slowing down and having to regroup, revisit our daily activities, one of the past “loves” has come back into my life. Music. There was a time when I listened to music from morning till bedtime. Over the years it has fallen into a “when time permits” place.
Now I have discovered YouTube music where anything and everything I have ever listened to or liked pops up for me to review and listen to without commercials. That with my Sirius Xm in the car.. makes for a whole new “ball game”. Yes I can have the Xm in the house on my devices here. but somehow I have just never had the time or inclination to figure it out.
My walk along the boardwalk the other day, enabled me to rekindle my love of “new discoveries” being in the outdoors, reveling in the sights and sounds of a new “discovery”. Life is Good.

My Mom used to make these little cuddly “bears” for charity. You would see her knitting away whenever she sat down to watch the telly. It was her “happy” place. The piglet I think was a gift to her.

Drizzle, wet splattering droplets were landing everywhere.
At one time, I would have not even undertaken to wander out in the woods while it was raining. On this day, it didn’t matter… this was where I wanted to be.
The day has many possibilities, like the branches on the trees, they begin and end somewhere.

Good Morning! It is after seven and it is dark outside. Groan. The shorter days have arrived. My internal clock still wants to wake up and get up and going much earlier. Thankfully my sleeping buddies are content to snuggle down and stay where it is nice and warm.
This picture is out of focus. I’m still getting used to my new camera… but what I was trying for.. you can see, are the drops.
The Virgo in me .. said… “you can’t use that, its out of focus” but the “lunar” part of me.. said “go for it” its the precious water droplets you want to show.. do it!” =^_^= the day was bright, the temperature was getting warmer, et voila… water droplets on some of the berries. The moment was perfect.. lol my shot wasn’t.
Lesson. Just because you want to do something, doesn’t mean you get to do it, or that if you do, it will come out the way you would like it to. That said, I had fun trying out my new camera, enjoyed the sun on my face, the slight breeze that rustled the leaves… AND… bonus, all kinds of birds, singing and dancing overhead as they explored from one branch to another.
I also met a fellow walker and her dog Scout. She also told me of the activities of the coyotes in the woods. A reminder that if there with the dogs, I will have to be vigilant and watchful.
A cheerful smile and expression makes everyone around you happy. When you do everything with a smile, not only you but the people around you will feel good. Always remember to put on a happy face.

there is something special about photographs that recall a moment in time
pictures that take us back to another time and place. When I found these pictures yesterday, I wondered if I could ever find them again. Computers are amazing wonders. I don’t know how often I’ve changed computers since these were taken, I’ve lost count. Yet, here they were on my screen popping up from files that the software genie had compiled.
I no longer questions how these things happen, the Universe has a way of delivering these little “presents” when I least expect it. I say thank YOU and feel gratitude for the discovery.
With the Thanksgiving week-end having just passed (Canadian) I got to spend a lot of time with memories as i looked over all the pictures. The pictures dated back to the early 2000’s A lot has happened since then. Seeing my Mother, sisters, family pets, in-laws, gave me much time for reflection. Of course, constant in all of them was my husband, it was his love and dedication to our “lives” that enabled much of what i got to see and live during the years he was here on earth with us.
It was a reminder not to squander the time we have here on earth.. it is a beautiful environment, and meant to be enjoyed, Friends, family, people we meet all have a purpose…We are all ONE….
We are all represented in Nature, we can be different seasons, different species, but we are all here to co-exist. It is time to focus on World Peace.
When you think “I’ve got it” think again. It is easy to misinterpret the situation and jump to conclusions. Always have a humble attitude and double check to make sure.
