halloween, sept.7Will I ever grow up, probably not, there is a part of me that loves the creative fun of the October season.  The leaves start to change colour, the air in the mornings is fresh and crisp.  Makes for a happy me.  OK I confess my preference in life is to living happy.

I know of one of you for sure, that is groaning and shaking her head as she sees this post. “it is still September ” she will moan.  But giggle and groan, Boooo Whooooo, this is a smile per page.

PL Principle 12  I will get up pleasantly in the morning.

I will never tire of saying, be happy, make that your choice, and the goal you have for every day and night.  When I play with my stickers, paints and ideas, I get right into it, it is about me, me little old me, enjoying myself.  Let us not forget the stolen hours, checking out thrift shops and crafting places for the materials, It is not about spending, it is about searching out the hidden treasure that will work (maybe) to help in your redesigning of an old book,  or putting colour down on a fresh blank canvas.

PL Precept 7  Everything exists in Relativity

Happy Tuesday everyone

China, shang-li SichuanLately I have been watching a lot of Chinese Documentaries, learning about China, not the China I grew up with in my imagination. ( I was born in Canada) but historical and social memories, offered up by CGTN.com.  To say it has been a learning experience would be an understatement.

Today a dear friend in Australia sent me this link… Hans Zimmer “light”

Hans Zimmer  “Light”  (The Thin Red Line)

Composed by Hans Zimmer, additional music by Klaus Badelt & John Powell, conducted and compiled by Gavin Greenaway and orchestrated by Bruce Fowler & Yvonne S. Moriarty.

The sights and sounds of  the video, were so calming, I wish you for you a serene day, that is filled with a light of promise, that will filter into all your tomorrows.

PL Precept #19  Begin once you perceive

relax

1.4.17_006… so easily muttered, relax, relax…

Relax. I said, relax, sometimes the word itself is like an exLax

ever notice that

you are being told to relax,

when all the while you thought you were relaxed

maybe to some the word relax could be replaced by passed out

no somehow I doubt that

next time I should ask

please be more specific I will say

and just maybe, they will go away

then I will really be relaxed, eh!!

Thursday Doors

The beauty of discovery.  I have driven here many many times, yet for some unknown reason, I only  “saw” it earlier this week.  How I could have driven past and not seen it, is a mystery.

Someone once said… when you are ready.. you will know/or see. It was time!

I am not sure what appeals to me more, the colours, the peeling paint, the shuttered windows and/or the fresh looking paint on the door and little side shed.  Part of me thinks someone tried to paint over the old bricks with left over paint from discarded old cans.  Whatever, the overall look, works for me.

blueberry day

cukes 4

you are right’

there is not a blueberry in sight

the cukes are fine

certainly not the same

is a nickel a dime?

oh gosh and darn

maybe a tomato, cucumber sandwich will do

nope, the thought does not appeal

Only blueberries will calm

so sound the alarm

I will be up at dawn

for that sweet, tantalizing taste

of fresh blueberries sold by the case

water colour 3.30

Sometimes we just have to make do

there are no blueberries, there is nothing to do, but wait.

tomorrow will be another day.               tomorrow will come and I will no longer want blueberries.. maybe?  What do you think?

Sweet dreams dear friends.  If your cloud floats near mine, please wave.

Smile as you pass by,  I will feel your vibe… and pass it on.

Pansy Patch Park

It is a protected environment, and very special in a way that  stands out in today’s world.  The grounds are a real lawn, not artificial looking,( perfectly green, no weeds), it is a pleasure to walk on such a lovely patch of yesterday where it is left to nature and the squirrels and plant that live there.  The mature trees around the grounds, allow only so much sunlight. A treasure for sure, a turn off a street, down a country lane, et voila!!!

Life is to be enjoyed, appreciate the beauty of the world, and the creative works of others who have spent lifetimes giving back to the world around them.  LIFE IS ART. PL Precept #1   Life is Art

You have your own way of doing things and others have their way of doing things  Don’t worry about what other people say.  Simply take care of the task at hand

Good morning everyone, we are beginning a new week with more sunshine.  I woke up thinking about how often I am struck with the fact many people spend their waking hours searching for something that they already have.  Reality.  Think about it, we live it every moment of our lives.  The key is for us to be aware of our true selves and to take responsibility for the lives we live.

aug 20 Susan TanyaTake time to look beyond the immediate vista before you.  Often you will discover there is a whole new “happening” within your reach and in your realm of possibilities.

Life is a kaleidoscope, a myriad of natural wonders that the Universe provides in abundance for us to discover and enjoy.

Take yourself out today for a walk into happy spaces lets work together to make this world a happier place.  Share your smile with a happy heart.
