August 1. in PL. is Founder’s Day. (Kyosoai) Through this special ceremony we honor the spirits of the first and second founders and dedicate ourselves to spreading and sharing the PL faith with others for the rapid realization of World Peace.
In the past I’ve been in Japan for this ceremony, it is followed by huge fireworks… this will not take place this year. (the fireworks) However, for those who can make it, we will have a service tomorrow at 7 pm.

Remain true to yourself… never be afraid to express your true feelings.
I saw this tree – lying there supported by the under growth. My first reaction is to go in and pull it away from the younger trees, the newer growth. I would have had to have my work gloves with me, and proper footwear, but at another time, without the dogs with me. I would have attempted to rectify the situation.
Years have passed in my life, and I now recognize that the “solder” is down, and my limitations are what IS in that moment. Nature will deal with the situation, and in her own time frame, with the assistance of the “world” around.. either workmen who come in to clear, or the animals in the forest who jump over or trample a path nearby.. the aging process… decay.. whatever, it will heal itself. Life does that.
I need to take care of me, and look more at what my needs are. What I can do something about. See the tender young shoots that are breaking through, eager for a new season of growth. Even though the day was not perfect for sunny pictures…. my camera captured, what WAS at that moment, and for me that was “perfect”
Take on the task even though you’re busy You’re busy because you are needed. Actively, positively and creatively juggle yur time to fit the new task in.

I have a dear friend who also has a blog, and who as a writer helps other writers by giving them a picture and asking them to write a story around what they see. Going through pictures for one of my other blogs, I came across this picture.. It spoke to me of so many possibilities that I thought I would try it out on this blog.
Who are these men, what is the storyline here. The postures, the looks, what do they tell you. Mollie you inspired this.. what do you see? Can you feel the emotions, what is happening here, or could be happening.
I look forward to some input here. I think I know where I would go with this story line, but… I’m going to stand aside and let you dear reader, tell me.
