I so truly believe in these words. One of the reasons I enjoy Second Life so much (virtual world) click here is the opportunities it gives me to express my artistic self, as well, as be anyone, or any “creature” I want. The creative opportunities are endless.

Every day, we live our lives usually dealing with the immediate needs that come our way. To keep our senses sharp and be ready to adapt, we have to be willing to “let go” of old habits, and to allow new ideas and expressions to colour our world.

Little steps. One day at a time.

Sometimes we open a door, and we are hit with an unexpected view. One we had no control over, but we’re now faced with the “What the ?!?!?!”

The camera of course was the first thought, take pictures, details, catch it before it is touched or anyone comes. Then talk to the workers, who are pretending not to be aware of your actions.

Keep calm, ask for an explanation. PL Precept #4 Being annoyed limits your expression.

Listen with intent. Pay careful attention to what is said. Appreciate, and remember to say Thank YOU.

Then return to your office, make notes, and then # 1. call the city, #2 call the owner of the property who the workers are working with. Being polite, and asking for answers and suggestions to the problem will usually inspire others to be helpful.

PL Precept #5 One’s self is lost by being emotional

Sincerity, faith and trust … are important ingredients to a life that is “balanced”

I’m not saying it is always easy, but they become part of your daily responses to opportunities when they are practiced on a regular basis.

Happy Wednesday everyone….

PL Precept # 11 Always be with God

PL Precept # 18 Each Moment is a Turning Point.

The pictures tell the story. If you have never experienced an air bag hitting you full on, then I suggest you try hard not to experience. It hurts. Not only did it leave me disoriented, I will have the sharp ache for the next while as a reminder, that I was very blessed to have been able to get out on my own, and walk to the ambulance.

The first responders were amazing. I can’t say enough about their kindness, and the care they took to ensure I was looked after. Always ensuring I felt safe and as comfortable as I could be. They even saw to my getting home to my husband, who was at home unable to do anything but anxiously await news.

I wish that I could personally call all my friends who have been wondering what has happened, but with the current situation of the setting up of the home care for “end of Life” it has been very busy, with people coming and going. Both husband and myself exhausted come end of day.

Tomorrow the palliative care doctor is going to make her first house call. =^_^=

Everyone is kind, caring and compassionate. For this we are grateful ..and appreciate each and every thoughtful gesture that has been directed our way.

You are YOU, Others are Others

You have your own way of doing things, and others have their way of doing things. Don’t worry about what other people will say. Simply take care of the task at hand.

And that is the reality. That is just the way it is. Our experiences, our past shapes our future…. Make each moment count. Live each day with new “eyes” … be open to new experiences, choices, we all have them…

Tomorrow is the 21st For members of Perfect Liberty, we celebrate with a Thanksgiving Service. We give thanks and show our appreciation for the blessings of the past month, while sincerely renewing our determination to follow and practice the Precepts and Principles of PL.

water colour 3.30

Sunday Monday – Happy start of the week everyone….

Bom dia…thought to start the week off with some colour. this was a water-colour I started, it has advanced several steps since the picture, but.. that was the beginning or part of it anyway. Blending, and marrying of different colours, adding texture, and different strokes applied with changing the brush. Sometimes it works, sometimes it is a surprise.

Life is Art, (PL Precept #1) how we decide on what steps we will take, to address challenges/opportunities, will dictate the outcome. We can either accept what we “see” or take creative measures to embellish or completely change what “was”

HI. =^_^= Wanted to show you a page from one of my art journals. This picture so delighted me at the time, I couldn’t pass along the magazine or get rid of it. Finally I started an Art Journal, or a Junk Journal… in it, I put in the various ” art pieces” that have caught my attention. This is one I wanted to use today, but… didn’t fit. So adding it in a post script.
