Original expression done shortly after my Mother passed away. Could I do it again, no. Once we express something to the world it is done, there is no going back. We move forward. In anger once I spoke angry words about someone. My Mother quickly and quietly told me that I should think before I spoke. Words spoken, actions of unkindness, are negative not only to the person you are directing your anger to, but to your self. If you have nothing kind to say, say nothing. Deal with the moment, you can do it.. tomorrow will be another day.
chicken wings how many wings will determine the amount of cranberries you use
fresh cranberries I used half a cup for about a pound of wings
half cup of honey garlic sauce I prefer the strong garlic, but medium and mild is sold
pink Himalayan salt to taste
simmer in a pot with about an inch of water, wine if you prefer
keep heat low, let it simmer covered till meat is falling off the bones
Serve on rice or noodles.
If you are not a person who enjoys the delight of sucking tender meat off the bones, this is not a dish for you.
next time I think I will add a black Japanese pepper to add to the sweet and tart of the dish.
Side dish is always mounds of a fresh veggies, steamed and served still on the crisp side.

Lego, Lego, it has been around for years. I never played with it in years gone by, and had no intentions of playing with Lego now. One should never say never. Lately I have been introduced to the many “wonders” of the Lego world of activities, I thought for the younger generation, however, I have since learned that Lego is played with by the young and old, and that collectors are hugely abundant.
In my travels I came across this set. #75951 Fantastic Beasts. I thought to give it a try. It was not in the cards. My fingers lacked the coordination and my aging gray matter rebelled unkindly to my intentions. A friends grandson, I was told was a super whiz at building Lego, and that my little 100 some blocks would be sneeze. His accomplishments are in sets that have thousands of pieces. I shudder at the thought, what patience he must have. I surrendered my little horse and carriage.
And look dear friends, I have it back and it is a beauty. I am thrilled. The young man is now my Lego hero my knight in shining armor. I will never think of Lego in the same way again. btw notice that the heroes are younger now.. or is it I am getting older.

Good morning, bom dia, a quick doodle, or sketch this morning, of a little character that has caught my fancy. You may or may not recognize Yoda, he was brave and intelligent, I like those characteristics. Above all I appreciate creativity and how when it is used for good, can do so much of a positive nature to the world around us.
Lately I have had to turn my attention away from watching media that (in my view) is negative and confrontational. We seem to no longer promote or share stories of goodwill, and /or positive interactions between the people who live on this planet. We seem to see only politics, religions (all man-made) and use them to batter the people who make up our communities. Our neighbours, friends, family, coworkers, why is it always, we against they/them, even within small units of people.
Watch the shift that will come, as the holiday season approaches, and the marketing goes into full gear. Then goodwill towards all will be played in the malls, over the media. glittering and shiny new toys and household gadgets will appear, Spend spend spend, then you will be happy…..right, till the bills come in
Yoda where are you, we need you now.. where are you with your clone troopers, come out of the fiction, we need you here and now. Evil isn’t in the skies and outer worlds, it is here, living amongst us now,
oh dear, oh dear, I am having a rant. quick my coffee, get me to a store so I can shop, change my focus…… unfortunately that is a temporary distraction. I still believe we need a Yoda. What do you think?
PL Principle #2 I will not have complaints about others,matters,nor the weather. Rather I will always be creativce and will look for shortcomings in my own thinking and actions.

October has arrived… Outubro 1… Bom dia
Yesterday I went in search of a colour of paint that would mix well with what I had to enhance the suggestion of blood. Dried blood. Luckily where I shop there is always someone to help and with my cohort Little Piglet, we spent a happy hour browsing and shopping. I know it is not often someone comes in looking for blood, but Isabelle, at Scrap En Mass (Alfred, Ontario) was up to the task. When you shop with a goal in mind, you are more easily able to describe what you want.
The ambience of the place is also a factor, the display of merchandise, the overall sense of creativity and fun that is generated by other customers. The time spent searching out, then playing with the items later, is always an interlude, that passes quickly, it is refreshing.

May the day shine brightly for you. Sunday and we are not having a service this morning, because of the service last evening. What does one do on a Sunday morning, when there is no service. I to Drucilla’s displeasure, decided to play with my paint and other supplies to start on a makeover for her. I have told her that this is therapeutic for both of us, but her silence tells me, …. it is all in my head.
Tomorrow begins another month. October. The leaves have started to change, when driving the back roads yesterday, I saw more sights of reds peaking through the evergreens. Actually not only the various shades of red, but the yellow orange hue were also taking over the fresh greens of the summer. The camera buffs who have been slumbering through the sweltering summer, will be polishing off their lenses to take full advantage of the fall display that will soon be in full bloom. I confess, I love, LOVE the autumn season, here in Canada where we get four different seasons, the fall months tantalize and delight me.
With that in mind I will be on the watch this morning, for “something” to catch my “eye” while I am out driving along the river, into rural Ontario. Some time, when you are inclined to do so, you must tell me how you mange to drive and “catch” that perfect moment, when there is other traffic on the road… =^_^=

Bom Dia on this lovely crisp Fall day. For the last couple of days I have pulled together Xmas holiday stash, and begun my card making for the November deadline, or maybe it is end of October. Must check that. I decided on a theme this year,since the cards are going to elderly persons that will stuck in home, hospitals and such over the holidays, I decided on a theme of “days gone by” I asked myself if I was going to be a recipient what would I enjoy.
There are many talented card makers who have been doing this for year, so there will be wide variety for the organizers to pick from. Have any of you given serious thought to what. you will be doing in December. I have not, thinking that far ahead was something I didn’t do. It has always been a time of year that I have not felt in sync with.
Yes I enjoy the colour and the gaiety that seems to arrive with the holiday season in December…. but the spiritual side of it all, I have found lacking. But that my dears is not something we will go into now. (huge sigh of relief heard throughout the land)
btw the cards are not finished yet, they are mid way. I see I’m running late, I will wish you all the best of what today will bring your way. I am looking forward to reading more of the autumn months from you, and the wonderful scenes you will post.
