Every day we have the chance to see an array of colours, that really do take the breath away. Yet, somehow we fail to let the quiet impressions of calm, take hold and keep us in a serene state for the rest of the day. Instead we are affected by the sometimes negative incidents that pop up to distract and cause us to stumble or hobble.
It is at such times that I am reminded how priceless good friends are. A kind word, a gentle nudge towards a happier experience. little steps can go a long way. Rain may fall, but the sunshine will always return. Always.
and so, the hours passed the mind tired of wandering down rocky pathways, and returned to wander blissfully towards the captivating land of dreams. The flowers still smiled and waved from their happy beds, only this time their cheerfulness stayed to lead the way. Sleep will come and tomorrow will be another day.

PL Precept #16 Each moment is a turning point
Pay attention, this is how it is done. Find where you want to life down, then let your body relax, put your head down and sleep. You have to really let go. It is easy, follow my lead.
I don’t think you are paying careful attention, look I’ll do it for you again, you see how I have positioned myself. You are watching, yes. Ok, here goes again.
You have to be totally committed to letting go, relaxing, and following through with the art of sleeping.
What… you want me to what.. move over so you can get into bed.
How thoughtless is that.

PL Precept #15 All is a mirror
Good morning, Bom Dia….
My table .. finally it is home, arrived last night. There was no sunlight this morning to show off its beauty, but hopefully you will get the idea. I am thrilled at the prospect of the many new memories that will be inspired from this slice of nature.
There are opportunities in and around every corner. =^_^= big smile and happy face

Left overs for breakfast some like it hot.. which it was first time around… but this I had chilled. Nice way to start a day.
This is what happens when you start to doodle a mouse, but are not really into it. distraction – big time – I was using charcoal, the actual piece (still at the church) is different, I used scotch tape to remove shading in place. I sent it around to friends, but got no reaction to “what happened” .. ok that’s not true, because they all answered something completely different .. and not related to the picture I had included
Distraction? We have a tendency to read sometimes., actually we glance at it, and then respond. OK OK not all the time.. but often. I do it, and I know I’m not alone. The only reason I worked at not doing it, was because I had a husband who having been an editor, was patient and consistent at pointing out to me how often people in his “circle” didn’t answer a question, or completely misread his missive. He was especially hard on the journalist he worked with. We won’t go into when he was doing government contracts.
Why do we skip over material, I have discovered that I have begun to skip over pages in a book when it gets boring. Or, the writer is taking to long to get me to where I want to go. How unfocused is that?
See I do know what a mouse looks like… I was going to doodle another mouse. like duh! DISTRACTION..
I’m suffering from Not In My BackYard…..symptoms…. torn…. church members and friends are being so helpful. I’ve gotten some good ideas. There are actually videos on YouTube. !!!! I’m learning something new every day.
