When sadness visits.

Se a tristeza e a faita de esperanca, Forem bater em seu coacao.. try to do something positive for others.. (If sadness and lack of hope knock in your heart)

Words. words. I hear them. and I feel the love and support …. but there are moments when, I am inside in the darkness… looking out, It will pass.

Monday

My sincere thanks to everyone who reached out to me, I have tried to answer as many of you as possible directly, but I confess to finding life a little “stressful” these days. I am in a bit of a “void”.. the silence around me, is a reminder that Keeper is not here to check in on me, or waiting for me to see she wants out etc. Time heals I know that. and… I know she is in a much better place, she can run pain free, and be the beautiful spirit she is without human interference.

Otherwise, life is good, I have caring, wonderful friends… I am blessed.. just be patient with me for a while longer. please. the pain is excruciating at times.. it will pass..

Decisions

Things start happening the moment you decide. From the moment you decide “I’m going to do something” things begin to happen. Ride your initial wave of enthusiasm to get things done efficiently, (2011.15)

Physical pain is something that everyone endures differently. Acceptance of discomfort as we age, and the various symptoms that become annoying and sometimes, ever present… can be challenging.

” And now you ask in your heart, “how shall we distinguish that which is good in pleasure from that which is not good?” Go to your fields and your gardens, and you shall learn that it is in the pleasure of the bee to gather honey of the flower, But it is also the pleasure of the flower to yield its honey to the bee. For to the bee a flower is a fountain of life, and to the flower, a bee is a messenger of love. And to both, bee and flower, the giving and the receiving of pleasure is a need and an ecstasy.” (The Prophet, Kahlil Gibran)

Express your feelings straight away. It will be good if you could express your feelings as they are to people around you when you are happy or when you are troubled. Also, it will be a good chance for you to get to know others, (PL2023.15)

Wednesday

The easier the task, the more careful you should be. When you do something you are used to doing, it is easy to fail due to overconfidence or conceitedness. Avoid falling into this trap, and proceed with caution (PL2012.12)

Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent, (Eleanor Roosevelt)

Perfect Liberty

Life isn’t about finding yourself, Life is about creating yourself – George Bernard Shaw

hello!

As we age, we do see and live through changes, Some changes are life changing, and there is no going back. The reality is.. there IS NO GOING BACK… we can revisit the place, but not the time.

Finally Friday

Treat today a if it is your first time around. Just because you succeeded in the past it doesn’t guarantee that things will go as smoothly this time around. Every day, each moment, there is a new challenge to face. (PL2011.7)

The key!

great crested fly catcher

Don’t give up! Keep at it until you accomplish what you’ve started. The key to achieving something is to stick to it. If you are able to continue something from start to finish, you will be sure to accomplish it no matter how difficult the task is. (PL2014.5)

Update on the car. the smell of moth balls is overpowering. It means the car is used for essential travel only. I’m told that it will be a few more weeks before the smell will dissipate. Thanks for following up. You are all so appreciated. Enjoy the new month, the mosquitos here are still on full attack, although wearing the protective netting has made a difference. Not taking pictures tho’ exposes the hands for too long, and gloves are…well.. let’s say… for now I’ll pass. Have a good day everyone!

pause, go back!

another traveler along the trail yesterday

When you get stuck, go back to the beginning … Could it be that you have forgotten what initially sparked your enthusiasm? By remembering what inspired you in the beginning, you will feel a renewed enthusiasm. (PL2012.04)

I don’t know if this is an old soul I’ve met in years past, but every once in awhile, there is/are turtles walking the trail(s) where they come across long legged creatures like myself. Wonder what they think of us. Check out this critters back claws.
