I came home today to find a beautiful floral piece with miniature fairy lights. The lights twinkle and dance merrily in their space. The display is magical. Even on the grayest of days, they will be an inspiration. =^_^=

Good morning all, if you live with dogs, you know that getting out of bed in the middle of the night can lose you your place in bed very quickly. Pulling up the covers didn’t help, they simply repositioned themselves so that your entry back under the warmth of the blankets can’t be managed without their help. You will note that neither one of them has drifted back into a deep sleep. The little mischief makers are patiently waiting.

Thank you, yes, I did manage to get back under the covers, all three of us had a very fitful sleep. And now. Another day begins.

PL Calendar day 6 (2019)

Past, present or future, always remember to be sincere and honest

At any time, the place where you are standing at that moment is the stage upon which you must express yourself in relation to your position or status.

In any form of expression, there are often many components that come together to get a desired effect, or to form the base for which you are about to elaborate on. Even then, the presentation can take so many forms depending on the direction you are going at that point in time.

That is what makes life so darn interesting. That is what makes getting up each morning so fun, yes fun. Means everyday brings new experiences, new endings, beginnings, with each step we take, we mature, we grow. Our ability to navigate the world around us gets that much experiences.

Hey yesterday, I actually went through a car wash on my own, I know. Most of you have done it a zillion times. It was new for me. I was so chuffed. =^_^=

Waiting for 2018 to end. What a year it has been, Major changes, a much loved story book romance, came to an end. Lost in thought last night, I wandered through the open doors of the memory vault. Each new day, brings me further away, from the day last May when I was left behind at the runway, my time not yet come to fly.

What will the new year bring, one will never know till the time comes. Meanwhile, the clock ticks a steady beat..counting down to what…

Chinese New Year is at the start of February this year. We will enter the year of the Pig. Tonight in my part of the world, we will slide into 2019, a little over twelve hours from now. If I didn’t know the time would it make a difference. Not really, my life would still be in change mode, and after a good sleep, I will wake to begin yet another day of adventure and exploration.

Andre 12.25a Life is lived in segments. Remember when the phone was thought to be the greatest of inventions. A voice from across the miles, would bring cheer, maybe only once a year. At Xmas, everyone would gather around the phone, and wait eagerly to speak to the relative, or friend who lived far away. It brought everyone close.

What time was spent with someone else was precious, not taken for granted, it was appreciated and remembered well into the years to come.

Sometimes, we just sit around,

we don’t make a sound

except perhaps a burp now and then

really the day stretches on

we don’t know where the time has gone

It takes years of trial and error to develop this useful skill. We live in a world of go, go, go.

Sitting with only the gentle stirrings of the world around you.

Can be a difficult task indeed.

Try bundling up and doing it in the dead of winter.

It is an amazing release of unwanted “baggage”.

Sometimes, the road that beckons isn’t the road you are on.

You will find that stepping into a different space, will also bring you to another place and maybe even time.

Live each moment with the interest you give a new book that has caught your fancy, where each page is riveting and you drink in each word, fingers poised to turn the page.

Our lives are just as interesting, when we sit in the silence of the moment, The reality of BEING is rejuvenating.

Sometimes, it simply is… no more..no less…

I travel far and near to find a tree, usually when I do find one that will chat with me, he lives with cousins near by who are also willing to spin a yarn or two.

Oh goodness me child, how nice of you to stop and visit. We can wait from dawn to dusk to be noticed, but find, we are old, and worn, so no one stops to visit anymore. They come with their dogs and walk right by, they head for open spaces.

Freddy down the way, will be glad of some company, he gets few tenants these days, not even the dogs that come this way, use us anymore to mark their way.

Down the bend, to the right, you will see a path beside Uncle John. The leaves are crisp you will enjoy the sound as they say thank you for your trust in accepting their guidance as you walk the unknown path.

Please come again, your shadow is growing taller, In a few months when you come again, we will be able to show you much more of our world. Then we will see your shadow in the snow. till then, your shadow imprint, will remain for a while, leaving us smiling, because you shared with us.

Just me and my shadow, enjoying the morning sun. There are a lot of roads out there, this one I will visit again. I enjoy and appreciate visiting with Nature. It is pure, it is real.

Thursday Doors

Happy Thursday everyone.. Bom dia.

Some doorways have a very open and spacious entrance. Others are more “this is what you get” and the tenants do their best to make it welcoming.

Then you leave the town and head out into the open country, the sights and sounds are very different. Yet always there are doors.

I got a tad turned around in my outing yesterday, found myself south when I should have been heading east. Ah who cared, I was out exploring and best of all, the sights of the fall colours was awesome. Meet my new friends…

He was a brilliant conversationalist, (both males) the blonde was less talkative. Sigh pleasures come from the most unexpected places. =^_^=

Remember, we are all responsible for the choices we make in life. Take time today to swing your happy into high gear. Happiness is a powerful positive energy.
