Dentelle

Meet Dentelle, first three pictures from left to right, the end picture is BeeJu, both of these gals are being groomed for a project I’m wanting to expand on. Dentelle was brave enough to try the new Cardboard Avatar that started as an April Fool’s idea for a Designer in SL (Salt & Pepper).. who was joined by other designers, and we now have a growing number of “people” in SL who have adapted the idea.. It has taken on a life of its own.

There is now a group for all of us who have fallen in love with this idea, and these are some of the items in the hunt that popped up. I have the LM for you here if you are in SL http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Astralia%20DEAD%20DOLL/161/118/1177

I use the avatars in my projects for the church as well as my other blogs. The girls are great to work with, always on time, and open to most of my ideas. Salary wise, it’s a breeze, they like being kept in smart clothes (to their taste of course) latest hairstyles and a place to hang.

Someone asked me the other day how old I was.. I was at the cash having a friendly chat about the mushrooms I had bought… on sale the huge big cafe mushrooms… I told the gal I ate them like a radish or orange, just straight out of the package.. no .. no condiments, no sauce, and yes raw.. That had the whole line at this cash smiling and wondering why raw.. I jokingly said, that is what keeps me young.. (of course I’m not “young”)

Then began the… “Oh” “ahs” they were all guessing of course at my age, since looking at me in my “outdoor” gear as my friends laughingly call my “out door” clothes. can really only leave people “wondering”… I avoided the how old are you question, with “in life, my goal is to be happy, and live each day doing my best to keep myself positive and spending time smiling and sharing “happy”.

My two handsome brutes are back… they are out for a morning stroll, looking to see who else is around. I was overjoyed when we met up. They remembered me and came to say hello.. ask me if I was “over the moon”.

My other wonderful find this week was a surprise I got when I went into the ladies at the church. Yoshiko was in Japan recently to bring Zak, Ashley and Alex to Canada ( their school break) so they could see first hand where their parents are living .. not much of winter left, but they did get to see snow.. you can see it is still around here.

Ta Da!!!! a toilet seat cover.. ingenious… seems they use them in Japan, not because of the cold, but the heat!!!!! Who knew!

Life is full of wonderful moments. Isn’t it.

A friend took me around to show me his creative endeavours, he is a huge Prince fan, he has built a museum, nightclub and picture gallery in Second Life to showcase the artists work. This has been done over the years, and introduced me to a singer I knew little of. Artists who work with the software and technology of the gaming world add a whole new dimension to the every day world ..

A thankful heart leads to happiness

When we really pay attention, we are surrounded by many things we can be thankful for; the society we live in, the kindness shown to us by others. You will be able to find true happiness when you can see and appreciate these things.

The other day I found a section in the format that had stored many many wonderful comments and feedback that for whatever reason, I did not see, or even know were there. Spring is in the air, the red wing blackbird was amongst the breakfast crowd yesterday morning, as well as the very vocal pileated woodpecker.

Being considerate of others is just as important as what works for you.

Always be mindful of the situations of others, not just your own. To have a good relationship with those around you always think of what is important to them too.

Sometimes it feels like the whole world is happening around you. What is the saying, dance like there is no one watching. Music is a medium that brings people together, no matter what has been going on in your life, what drama has played out during the day, when you can sit back and just relax with the magic of a melody/song, let your mind and thoughts disappear into a world that transports you to another level of awareness. Mind altering. If you are lucky enough to be able to hear live music, and share that experience with others… it is a musical wonderland. Positive energy! Personal journey!

Past, Present and Future, always remember to be sincere and honest. At ay time, the place where you are standing at that moment is the stage upon which you must express yourself. Barred owl

It was very humbling yesterday to realize that the owl was comfortable with my presence at the base of his tree. The chickadees were singing and going back and forth between us. It was really unreal, I was totally mesmerized by it all. He watched me walk away to give the jays their peanuts… the doves, and woodpeckers were happy to get on with breakfast…. He just watched us and seemed content to be part of the morning activities. It ended when a couple of birdwatchers drove up and we got into human conversation. He spread his wings and took off. He was magnificent.

This was was my third encounter with him. Every meeting has been one that seems contrived. Fanciful thinking on my part, maybe… but the encounters are treasured! When he spread his wings he was so majestic.

Your smile energizes the people around you.

A smile has the ability to put others at ease and give them energy. Strive to be the first to offer a smile each day to those around you

If you are cheerful, it will make everyone around you cheerful. Cheerful and happy people attract others. Always smile and have a pleasant attitude,.

In the beginning love holds so much promise. It takes work and dedication for a relationship to flourish. The everyday things you do will show when it really counts. It doesn’t help to over think situations … be proactive and change how you see and do things in each situation.

Be true to yourself. but be aware of how others feel, be open to listening to another’s thoughts…. be willing to discuss, and consider all options.
