I could send her a few pictures of the cold wet tree limbs and snow covered paths, hmm maybe I’ll wait for a sunny day. or a picture of the little scarf and hoodie I’m knitting for the black squirrel… nah will save that for when she sends me the beautiful photos of the hand stitched quilt she is putting together. =^_^=

How quickly things can change, with the rain and mild evening we had, I wonder what the scene will be when I arrive this morning. From -14 temperatures the other day, to in the 40’s today. The above pictures I took yesterday morning. The sugar coated trees and forest floor were magical.
Enjoy what happens. People who can enjoy anything happening to them receive wisdom for the next step. Try to work on things without being overly concerned.

Today there were many pictures of cardinals and blue jays against the snowy background that is now our backdrop till sometime in early next year. When a trail is closed it is usually because the forestry personnel didn’t get to clear parts of the trail that were blocked by fallen trees, before the weather changed, there is always a reason. sometimes it isn’t obvious, there could be a tree that has been snapped and hasn’t fallen yet, and again, the crews were unable to remedy the problem before the change in weather. Unless you know the trail and the woodland area well, stay clear until it is opened again. Please be safe,

A memory from the past. Funny I see the clock that reads 1:20 something in the background. Could have been a week day, but likely not, a week-end then. My Mother would have been sitting in her lazyboy just to the left of the tissue box. Timmy (the cat) seems to be tending a purse, so someone had to be visiting. I didn’t expect to see this picture when I opened the file. but… there he was, my Mother’s loving companion, he had a loving personality … time… it has a way of disappearing , moments are fleeting…
