The other day, I drove by a work site, and saw the mounds of earth, with their new growth. It rocked with me I loved it. So much so, that I went back and drove into the construction site, to take pictures.

My very own treasure chest, the dry earth, the cracks, loved it all. I really do marvel at the way nature provides me with such wonders. actually it is for everyone, but some how I don’t think everyone gets as chuffed up as I do about such things.

To have had a macro lens I would have been up there trying to catch every nook and cranny that took my fancy.
We are all different, we all take in the world around us in our own way. That is what makes the environment and the populations in it, so intriguing and inspiring.
PL Precept #9 Human Beings are ALL Equal
and we are all unique in our own way. What bounty, what tremendous source of inspiration … live happy, be happy, learn, grow and pass it on.
PL Precept #15 All is a Mirror
My love to each and every one of you. Oyashikiri
you have heard the expression ‘pretty as a picture’ this sure appealed to me, when I saw it on our Japanese calendar I took a photo and used it for one of my blogs
That was a while ago, and today if you ask me what it says…. I have no idea… I would have at the time because someone would have translated it for me.
Yesterday, during service, while everyone was taking in the moment, I felt a ~current of change~ while I still was aware of all that was going on and being said, a part of me-disassociated. I don’t know how else to describe it. It was much like revisiting the above picture, knowing it, knowing I liked the sentiment, but what it was escaping saying me.
Usually I would have shared this with members, but for some unknown reason (to me) then, and still now, I fell silent. That silence stayed with me for over an hour. I interacted yes, but that niggling feeling remained, disappearing only after I got home.
It like being connected and being disconnected at the same time.

I am relearning, to practice stillness in my every day life.
There is an art to “Being”
Q
We begin our journeys with such innocence
so many dreams, hopes, genuine happiness
we find ourselves discovering something new every day.
Why do some of us stop discovering, and allow routine to take over..
These dolls I found the other day
Have been around, the top one probably more so than the other one
Where have they been, what stories could they tell.
These little treasures will come with me to the next Doll meeting
hopefully I will learn more there.
For the moment they have a new place to stay and experiences to acquire.
Every day is a new opportunity to live another story line, every day is a new beginning.
Look down, look up, look around, pleasures abound, waiting to be found.

an owl or a beetle
in the end it was neither,
instead the rusted tin man emerge
and I heaved a sigh of relief
with the decision made,
I could go on with my day
the sun is high
a heat wave is on its way
it is not good-bye
cuz somewhere in your day
I will pop in and
click or hoot
a boo
at YOU

Pl Precept #10 Love Yourself and Others

Rejoice every day
it is the start of another holiday
what is the occasion you may say
it is an every day, a new day
one, that is full of hope
when you can greet every one around
and say,
Happy me and you day!
I pray you have a good day!!!
my words may be simple,
but they are true,
and yes, they are meant for you.

No, not lost where you don’t know where you are, just “lost” when you stand in one place and feel that at that moment, you are in many places. The shadows, the lush vegetation, the multiple shades of green. AND of course the almost hidden old wooden building in the background.
My adventure companion and I had arrived in Merrickville, her for ice cream, and me, for no real reason but to share time with a friend and enjoy the outing. Then I saw this place and was instantly transported to many places at once. I saw New Hampshire, the Laurentians, southern NY state, it was an amazing feeling, it wrapped itself in a hug and vanished,
Such moments are not uncommon, but they are not “ordinary” we have to be tuned in to “receive the frequency”. Be present in your every day life. Live each moment! Live with appreciation .. give thanks!
PL day 11 (calendar)
BE THANKFUL FOR WHO YOU ARE TODAY

What to do when your day starts with a “bang” (unpleasant one) and then more or less continues on in similar fashion. During the 10 a.m service today, (Day of Peace) I found myself crying thinking of what happened early before I got to the church.
The dog got his tail chopped off by a closing door. My precious baby.. yelped, then I saw the piece of tail on the floor and the trail of blood as he escaped into the house. Such misery, such helplessness.. I could only react. Meanwhile his sister who is white, was now looking like a red dalmatian and blood was everywhere, on me and on the carpets. Didn’t matter all I wanted to do was pick him up and hold him to me… of course that did wonders for my outfit. When I finally got to church, I realized that I still had blood on me, and my clothes. What a sight.
Fortunately the vet made a house call. I was so relieved. We are all resting comfortably, the human will be taking to her bed very early. Oh dear, just remembered have to check on the laundry. Used cold water. back.. looks like all the stains came out. ahh sigh.
PL Calendar, day 2 Be Forever young and seek new challenges
The world is constantly in motion and never rests. Keep your senses sharp and be ready to adapt to the ever-changing world.
During all of today’s “activities”, I picked up the memory candle from the Funeral home, isn’t it pretty, there is a small compartment that is sealed under it. During the service, the candle is lit. I had never seen these before. I am comforted that it is home with me now.
Life is what it is. I need to slow down, and let my journey set the pace for peaceful healing.
