Driving through the take out lane, I saw the fog was lifting. earlier, not even an hour or so, I could see only two car lengths in front of me
I was heading back towards the city now, with each passing mile, the sky got brighter
bright enough, that I thought to stop to take a picture. Usually I am driving by this site during the work day, and the road is just too busy. I may have mentioned that I have been wanting to get a picture before the whole building disappears. It has happened before, I am driving along a road I travel many times a week when suddenly I realize that a building has disappeared.
The world around me is in constant flux. For some reason, the demolition, began at a time that for whatever reason, I missed it. I happened to go to the post office one day (it is across from this location) and when I drove out, it was a “WOW when did that happen???” That was in the fall, and here it is February of the following year, and there it still stands.
I did see an opening in the fence. However, my common sense, held me in check. No hard hat, and not wearing my steel toed footwear. Maybe I’ll get a chance another day. LOL if I were to find rust I would be in 7th heaven.
This adventure took place last week, today, I am looking forward to what’s ahead.

Always in for a challenge. I picked up two Barbies today, one had articulating arms the other articulating legs. I wanted the one doll to have the articulating limbs.
Did I know what I was doing? The simple answer is ..No..
Hmmm. thought to find something on YouTube. It could be there but so far, I have not found what I am looking for. Meanwhile, I now have two dismembered dolls. I did enjoy the exercise. However, I will have to put the parts away now till I find out what I need to do, from what I have seen so far, the gals who show restoration of Barbie type dolls, simply switch heads..
But then, they still have a doll that doesn’t articulate the way I want.. you get either the arms or the legs. Either or. I’ll just have to do some more research. Anyone out there, rebuilt a Barbie type doll?
I think that I am left with pieces that may not be re-useable. tsk tsk tsk.

When you see a building off in the distance, you know you are going to get closer. No matter the weather or the road conditions on that day,
A simple structure, not sure what it is for, I wondered if it is decoration or for children to play in while the parents enjoy a coffee break.
When I found the door I was excited. Wow… it is all in the details.. rustic, charming, certainly a cheerful moment in an otherwise ho hum day .. (weather wise) My husband and I enjoy this park, in the summer, it is not over crowded, and the breeze from the water is always refreshing.
We didn’t get there last fall, due to circumstances beyond our control, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Put a door on something and all of a sudden, it becomes a much more interesting place.
